Glamorous racegoers were snapped in their finery as they attended the Qatar Goodwood Festival in Chichester today.
Saturday marks the final day of the event known colloquially by some as ‘Glorious Goodwood’.
This final instalment, known as Stewards’ Cup Day, is described by event organisers as a ‘fitting finale to a fantastic week where the emphasis is on socialising’.
Those attending the event put their best style foot forward, making the most of the Summer sun.
Revellers were snapped showing off their carefully curated outfits, pairing frocks in pastel and bright hues with hats.

Meanwhile, another attendee opted for this chic yellow dress, which she paired with a large straw hat

One attendee was photographed arriving at the event in a bold statement maxi frock in fuchsia.
And another also made a bold choice, opting for a bright green hat, which she paired with a maxi dress featuring a floral print in pink and coordinating green.
Meanwhile, while the warm weather continued today, some racegoers were snapped holding onto their hats as the breeze threatened to lift them off their heads.
The five-day festival, which is seen one of the highlights of the British flat racing season, boasts a number of enclosures, each of which have different dress codes.
Described by organisers as Goodwood’s premier enclosure, the Richmond Enclosure requires men to wear a jacket and tie .
Meanwhile, women are required to wear a garden party look which includes a ‘a floaty or floral dress, an elegant top and trouser/skirt combination that is suitable for England in summer’.
However, organisers recommend those ‘you leave your stiletto heels at home, as the uneven ground can be tricky to walk on’.
Guests in the Gordon Enclosure and the most relaxed area, the Lennox Enclosure are not subject to a formal dress code. But organisers note that they ‘ask all racegoers to dress suited to an afternoon’s racing at the world’s most beautiful racecourse’.

It’s been a challenging few years for the festival, which was due to welcome 5,000 racegoers through its gates on the final day of 2020 – but those plans were scrapped by the Government a day before it was due to go ahead because of the pandemic.
Goodwood managing director Adam Waterworth said at the time that the U-turn cost the track a ‘six-figure sum’ but the cost to racing was much, much bigger.
‘It has cost us six figures. But it was never a money-making exercise, it was about proving we could get crowds back,’ he said.
‘The loss is huge in what is already a year when there is no profit and the loss figure is getting bigger and bigger. Crowds are what we are all about.
‘Between 70 and 80 per cent of our revenue is directly due to people coming through the gates. It’s a big kick because there was a bit of light at the end of the tunnel having thought we had actually done it getting crowds back.’
