Ant McPartlin gave viewers an update on his health after sparking concern on Sunday’s I’m A Celebrity. 

The presenter, 50, had a very husky voice as he hosted a segment before Emmerdale star Lisa Riley’s trial. 

As the host opened the Monday’s show, he said: ‘Good evening and welcome to Australia, much like my voice, Eddie Kadi is gone’. 

Declan Donnelly then asked Ant if he was feeling better, to which Ant replied: ‘A little bit, thank you for your sympathy.’  

Fans took to X, following the update. They said: ‘Massive respect to Ant carrying on so well whilst feeling poorly’ and ‘Ant is sounding a bit better tonight’. 

It comes after Ant sparked health concerns just minutes into Sunday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity when it was Lisa’s trial.

As Dec hit the back of his back to help clear Ant’s throat, he brutally told him: ‘Cough it up son!’ 

Ant jokingly said: ‘I’ll shove you over there in a minute!’ as he pretended to push him over the edge of the banister. 

Fans wrote on social media: ‘Poor Ant’s voice.’

‘Someone get Ant a lemsip #ImACeleb.’ and ‘poor ant’s going to have no voice at the end of this.’

It comes after viewers were left ‘devastated’ when Eddie Kadi became the second contestant to be voted out of the jungle on Sunday evening.

The funnyman, 42, found himself in the bottom two alongside model Vogue Williams, before it was announced he had received the fewest votes and would be leaving camp.

Fans claimed Eddie was one of the most ‘underrated’ campmates and Vogue or Kelly Brook should have received the boot instead. 

Eddie, who was second to leave after Lioness Alex Scott, said his farewells before sitting down for his exit interview where he reflected on his jungle experience, telling the hosts how it had ‘changed his life’.

He said: ‘I feel like I’ve been in there a year, it’s literally changed my life. Coming from Congo, where we have a massive rainforest, I feel like I’ve had a taste of what my grandparents experienced, and I realise now why they were so humble.
