There are some things we love about spring: the sunshine’s reappearance, al fresco drinks and longer days. But for plenty of us, it’s also the time we start to get nervous about showing more flesh. And there’s one area in particular that seems to trigger our collective insecurities: our arms.
It’s no surprise it’s a contentious issue. As soon as spring arrives, high-street stores bring out an array of skimpy vests that look as though an employee has gone around with scissors and given every sleeve in sight the chop. Below are 12 of the best tops I’ve found that both cover your arms and don’t look like they’ve been dragged from your mum’s wardrobe. They’re also all light linens or cotton blends, which means no sweaty stickiness as the temperature starts rising. Talk about a win-win.
