A woman has shared a ‘life changing’ hack on how to create the popular Starbucks Frappuccino at home.

Eve Edmunds, from London, shared the video to her TikTok and it went viral, racking up almost four million views.

She started the video by saying: ‘Apparently we’ve all been drinking these wrong,’ whilst holding the Starbucks product.

Eve claims that you are meant to blend the chilled bottle beverage in order to get a Frappuccino.

She continued by saying: ‘If you think, this isn’t a Frappuccino really is it? A Frappuccino is frothy, they’ve got a lot to them.

‘Whereas this is just liquid, it’s just an iced coffee, so I’m going to try it.

‘I’ve had these, loads in my life for years and years now. And I have never ever ever blended it.

‘So let’s give it a go and see if it’s better had when blended.’

Eve then put some large ice cubes inside her blender, before pouring the refrigerated beverage into the cup.

The TikToker then gives the drink a quick whizz before pouring the frothy drink into a mason glass.

Shocked at how much more liquid she got once blended, Eve said: ‘Ok that is all the way at the top. And when I filled it, it was about here. So blending the ice [has made it] go all the way to the top.

‘It’s a frappe! You see these bits of ice? Oh my god. The consistency has completely  changed.

‘That is definitely like a frappe. Did you see how thick it was when it was coming out?’

Eve then tried the drink and was thoroughly impressed, and took another sip before saying: ‘It tastes different but good. It tastes different to [this drink] when you drink it straight.

‘It tastes like a frappe. It tastes like when you go to Starbucks and get a proper frappe, this is what this tastes like.’

Eve then finished the video by telling her followers that they have been drinking the beverage wrong ‘our whole lives.’

The beverage can be purchased from a range of supermarkets and retails for around £2.10 depending on the store.

Whilst it varies from branch to branch, a barista-made grande Frappuccino can cost a whopping £4.95.

This is more than £1 cheaper than if you were to purchase a barista-made Frappuccino at a Starbucks store.

She captioned the video: ‘The most chaotic video. BUT THIS IS LIFE CHANGING! (Bit over the top but basically it’s great).’

One user wrote: ‘Recommendation; I’d do exactly the same as u did now, but add choc chips, life changer! You can get this at a starbs too, it’s called a java chip!’

Another penned: ‘You don’t blend it you put it in the freezer for bout two hours then shake it to make it a Frappuccino.’

A third commented: ‘Or just blend instant coffee sugar ( for that exact bottle about 2 -3 spoons) and milk to dissolve the coffee and sugar than add ice and blend again.’

A fourth said: ‘No wonder it tastes so strong if drinking straight away.’
