Yasmin Le Bon looked incredible in a black bikini as she joined her husband Simon on a lavish family holiday in Sardinia.

The Duran Duran frontman, 67, and his model wife enjoyed a stroll in the sea as they spent a leisurely day by the coast of Sardinia with a group of friends. 

And Yasmin showcased her figure in the black string-tied two piece as she joined the singer who opted for a coral pair of swimming shorts. 

Simon also protected himself from the sun as he wrapped a white T-shirt around his shoulders and wore a white baseball cap. 

The couple were seen walking along the beach before making their way onto a smaller boat, which took them out across the water to board a larger yacht waiting offshore. 

Once aboard, Simon and Yasmin spent time relaxing with their friends before taking a dip swim in the sea and sunbathing on the deck.

The couple appeared to make the most of the Mediterranean sunshine and picturesque coastline during their day out on the water. 

The couple, who got married in 1985, shares three daughters Amber, 37, Saffron, 34, and 31-year-old Tallulah. 

Yasmin previously admitted a career walking the catwalks left her in chronic pain and ‘very depressed’.

The star was just 17 when she was spotted by a model scout and went on to sign with Models one Agency in London after leaving school.

Over the course of her career she became the face of Versace, Chanel and Dior and graced the covers of Vogue, Cosmopolitan and Harper’s Bazaar to name a few.

Reflecting on her years in the industry, Yasmin explained the profession has led to her suffering crippling back pain for many years.

Speaking in an interview with Hello Magazine, she confessed she has ‘paid the price’ physically.

The star explained: ‘I’ve had times in my life where it has become really, very depressing when I couldn’t walk without pain, couldn’t do anything and it’s really hard.’

She added: ‘I feel for anybody who’s had back pain or is going through it.

‘I think it’s a mental thing as well, getting through the fact that maybe you’re going to have to live with a certain amount of pain.

‘You can do that, you just have to change the way you do everything.’

Yasmin described how she would often be doing balletic leaps across sets while wearing stilettos which nobody would do now.

Meanwhile the fashion icon also opened up about how she always had to be on her guard for predatory behaviour and thanks her strong personality for keeping her out of uncomfortable situations.

The star admitted there were a few instances that could have ‘gone differently’ as she explained: ‘I think after those two instances, anything that made me feel in any way out of control, I made sure never happened again…. I think you can’t give an inch.’

She explained how photographers would try to test you and push you psychologically to get you to do a job or see if you would be tough enough for it.

Yet she stayed true to herself and confessed that even in her younger days she had a no-nonsense attitude.

Yasmin has also always had her rocker husband Simon by her side after the pair married when she was just 21.
