Originally built in the 1980s, the secluded sanctuary was designed to be self-sustaining.

The island has its own off-grid backup battery that’s powered by solar panels and a wind turbine.

For plumbing, water is collected off the pyramid-style roof and pumped out through a 15,000-gallon freshwater cistern.

Highlights of the property include a coral reef, a chef’s kitchen, a large entertainment space with a media area and bar, as well as a gaming corner – not to mention 360-degree ocean views from literally anywhere on the property.

The beauty of the property is in its details such as the wood floors, beamed ceilings, and plenty of windows and sliding doors for taking in the ocean views.

The bedrooms, sporting high ceilings with high-gloss reflective paint, all offer unobstructed ocean views.

Naturally, the home is made for living outdoors: You’ll find an outdoor kitchen, lounge area, expansive pergola, and a dock for water toys and boats.

Ember Duran, of luxury real-estate firm The Agency, holds the property.
