All four were dressed to the nines as they walked out into the spotlightas part of the evening’s entertainment, which also included a monologue by actress Sophie Okonedo, 55, and performances by Stromzy, 30 and Annie Lennox, 68.

The stunner styled her glossy raven tresses poker straight as she showcased her iconic walk in perfectly matching ankle boots.

Cindy, 57, looked equally glam in a sparkly fringe midi-dress which had been tailored to perfection and fitted like a glove.

The frock boasted a cowl neck and she forwent jewellery letting the outfit speak for itself and opting instead for silver heels.

Meanwhile Christy, 54, also joined in the metallic theme in a long flowing gown which boasted an asymmetrical neckline and dramatic train.

And last but certainly not list was Linda, 58, who oozed sophistication in her ultra glamorous sequinned silver maxi dress.

Her showstopping look featured cuts out at her shoulders a high collar and she clearly felt like the bees knees as she beamed while making her way on stage.

Cindy, Linda, Naomi, and Christy came together for a joint September issue which initially delighted fashion lovers.

However Alexandra Shulman, who edited British Vogue from 1992 to 2017, has argued in the Mail on Sunday that the publication turned the stars into ‘cartoon versions’ of themselves.

She wrote: ‘Why on earth did they have to be turned into a plasticised version of themselves, dressed in gloomy black widow outfits and run through computer retouching to emerge as a cartoon version of what a glamorous older woman might be?’

Meanwhile many on social media were quick to agree with her, with one person commenting on Instagram: ‘I think a fairly dreadful representation of these beautiful women in their prime and what a sorry excuse not to show them in all their middle aged glory. Let’s be honest Vogue is not half as aspirational as it used to be!’

Kate Moss, 49, also made a stylish appearance on stage on Thursday as part of the glitzy show’s line-up and even did an interpretative dance which viewers branded ‘bizarre’.

The model looked nothing short of sensational in a iridescent gown black tulle overlay complete with art deco inspired seaming.

Kate was first shown getting glammed-up backstage before she walked through the wings of the theatre as the show paid tribute to the theatre performers it is fundraising for.

Opera singers then appeared in the crowds while Kate was shown via a screen on stage doing a bizarre interpretive dance underneath a black sheer piece of fabric.

She wafted her arms around in the air as the fabric billowed over her before she emerged from backstage and graced the stage before the second music number.

Elsewhere Cara Delevingne wasted no time shocking the audience during the event, as she shared a passionate smooch with FKA twigs.

The singer-songwriter, 35, was set to perform when the model, 31, suddenly stormed onto the stage dressed in an eye-catching punk outfit.

The pair then engaged in a surprise kiss before FKA twigs was whisked away by her backing dancers.

As she was carried away, Cara was left in her wake as she donned an oversized leather jacket and debuted her colourful punk mohawk hair complete with a leopard patterned head shave.

Viewers, who were watching on a YouTube livestream, took to social media to admit they left baffled by the ‘bizarre’ show.

Despite the star-studded line-up, fans were quick to comment on the crazy show, as they shared their confusion at Kate and Cara’s quirky dances.

One wrote: ‘Not sure what Cara is doing but I love listening to FKA Twigs.’

Another said: ‘Fka Twigs and Cara Delevingne kissing at Vogue World. Well that wasn’t on my 2023 bingo card.’
