The Christmas season is firmly in full swing and to celebrate the occasion thousands of revellers descended on Britain’s high streets for one final festive booze up before the holidays.
Freed from the shackles of work, Brits packed the pubs and clubs of Leeds and Nottingham in a variety of Christmas costumes and jumpers.
Despite the cold, wet and windy weather, pubs, clubs. restaurants and bars were filled to the brim with punters who were keen on one last session of the working year.
And it seems the spirit of generosity and festive excess was also applied to their spending at the bar if these disheveled snapshots are anything to go by.
As the night developed, punters were seen clinging on to each other and lampposts for support as their alchohol intake took its toll.
And in the case of one unfortunate man dressed as Father Christmas, the street was his bed for the night after one eggnog too many.
