Kai Rooney has gone public with his first romance.
The son of Wayne and Coleen, 14, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a snap of his new girlfriend Jasmine Lyons alongside the words: ‘I love you.’
Jasmine, who only has two photos but 1,898 followers on her public profile, posed in a black crop top and white skirt in Adeje, Spain in the snap.
In another post, Jasmine was seen posing on the same balcony while Kai was tagged in the comments by a pal, who wrote: ‘Lucky boy’, under which he penned: ‘muy cierta’, which is Spanish for ‘so true’.
The teenager also seems to have the seal of approval from her loved one’s family as she follows Kai’s mum Coleen, 37, his brother Klay, 10, as well as their cousin Jaiden on the social media site.

Kai signed for United’s academy as an 11-year-old in 2020
Earlier this year, it was revealed that at his tender teen age, superstar offspring Kai is already earning his own living as a social media influencer.
He has been plugging a series of sports and fashion brands – one of them being his mother Coleen’s favourite fashion shop, Cricket.
He was also posting about a competition to plug the latest Puma football boots as part of a lucrative deal with the sportswear giant which he signed last summer.
He advertises the brand repeatedly to his then 85,000 followers – which has now spiked to 168,000 – while he also posted about Puma’s back to school range, in which he was sitting on a picnic table alongside a rucksack.
In another post he posed alongside a billboard in high street chain JD Sports.
Industry sources say that the deal ‘won’t have been worth hundreds of thousands but would still have been lucrative, especially for someone his age’.
Kai is already following in his father’s footsteps by signing for Manchester United, where he played in their under 13’s team.
Sources close to the Rooneys say that Kai is a ‘lovely, kind and down to earth’ young man whose priority in life is to play football.

Taking to Instagram, the Birmingham City manager’s wife Coleen shared a photo of sons Kai and Klay and their younger brothers Kit, seven, and five-year old Cass fully kitted out in boxing gloves and shorts individually personalised with their names.
The four boys were pictured side by side after setting up the ring in their home gym, somewhat appropriately on Boxing Day.
Captioning the shot, Coleen wrote: ‘Happy Boxing Day everyone! Not sure the ring was a good idea for Christmas. Hope everyone had a lovely day.’

Coleen met her childhood sweetheart Wayne at the age of 12 as they grew up in the Liverpool suburb of Croxteth and they began a relationship at the age of 16.
They then tied the knot in their early 20s at a romantic wedding in Portofino, Italy, on June 12, 2008.

Coleen was known for being constantly clad in designer labels, including a Von Dutch hat, T-shirt and a Chloe handbag with her eye-popping engagement ring (pictured in 2004, aged 18)
Coleen admitted in her Disney+ documentary that she was ‘shy’ about boys when she was a teenager and said she loved Wayne’s ‘cheekiness’ when they first went on a date at the age of 16.
‘Back then I was a bit shy when it came to boys and I didn’t talk to my dad about boys but I remember him saying, don’t ever chase a lad, let him do the chasing,’ she said.
‘I was 16 when I first ever went on a date with Wayne. I found him funny and I found the cheekiness quite charming.’
In her early days of stardom, Coleen became famed for her Juicy Couture tracksuits, garish gowns and huge hair – making her a pioneer of the WAG look – however she was cruelly dubbed ‘a chav’ by vile critics who hounded her in her youth.
At the time, she hit back, saying: ‘I haven’t set out to be famous, but I’m beginning to feel like I can’t win. I’m not the person the newspapers think I am…
‘And there’s all this hype, but I didn’t seek it. And I don’t understand that chav label. I don’t know what it’s supposed to mean. When you see someone in the paper, it’s so different to real life, isn’t it?’

Rubbing shoulders with fellow players’ wives can be daunting to a fresh-faced teen – yet Coleen took fraternizing with the likes of Victoria Beckham in her stride (pictured in April 2006 aged 20)
