This television actor looks completely unrecognisable in upcoming ITV drama series Passenger with a scruffy white beard and hair-do.
Known for his legendary character in Shameless, he looks worlds away from his usual clean-shaven self.
The TV star sports straggly short hair, huge bags under his eyes and has been covered with special effects make-up to age him 10 years.
In the upcoming drama, which releases next week, he is a far cry from how fans know him in the hit Channel 4 drama which ran for nine years.
But, can you guess who it is?

It’s David Threlfall!
The actor, 70, who is renowned for staring as Frank Gallagher in Shameless, plays Jim Bracknell in the ITV series.
His new role in Passenger is completely different, with his character, a fracking manager, finding himself blamed for a series of mysterious goings on in the town of Chadder Vale.
Written by Broadchurch star Andrew Buchan, Passenger follows ‘a close-knit community who are unwilling to face their fears of change, of outsiders and of the unknown.’
David joins Loki star Wunmi Mosaku as former Met Police Detective Riya Ajunwa, who’s job is to investigate the strange and eerie events in the town.
While David also reunites with Shameless co-star Sean Gilder, who played Paddy Maguire.
The synopsis for the new drama reads: ‘Riya arrived in decaying Chadder Vale five years ago and has since been searching for that ‘one big crime’, the challenge that will make her feel alive again.
‘Then one night local girl Katie Wells (Rowan Robinson) mysteriously disappears. The town barely has time to register her absence before she reappears the next day, apparently safe and sound.
