This is the hilarious moment an Amazon driver falls face first into gravel after trying to vault a homeowner’s front gate in what appeared to be a moment of heatwave madness. 

The delivery man was seen jumping over the gate of the home in West Sussex, after he couldn’t figure out how to open it. 

After taking a run-up at the chest-high gate, he leapt over it and nearly cleared it. 

However, his foot caught on the top of it and he was sent tumbling downwards. 

The homeowner was telling him how to open the electronic gate when he suddenly started his run-up.

His heatwaves antics came as Brits flocked to the beach today as temperatures hit a scorching 31C in parts of the UK 

She could be heard exclaiming ‘oh f***’ as the driver fell down.

Despite hitting the gravel on the other side of the gate with a fair deal of force, he managed to get up without a scratch before carrying on with his day. 

His heatwaves antics came as Brits flocked to the beach today as temperatures hit a scorching 31C in parts of the UK.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) issued yellow heat health alerts across most of England while NHS leaders said the service was expecting ‘major disruption’.

Yesterday, the hottest temperature recorded was in Herstmonceux, near Eastbourne, in East Sussex where temperatures provisionally hit 29.4C – the hottest weather recorded in the UK so far this year.

That made it hotter than Torremolinos on the Spain’s Costa Blanca where temperatures reached 29C (84.92 F) or Kos in Greece with the same temperature.
