Taylor Swift fans who travelled to the UK for the pop billionaire’s Eras Tour set themselves a mission during their 10-day stay to see one of the nation’s top tourist attractions – Larry the Cat.
Molly, who is from Georgia, US, recently travelled to London for Taylor Swift’s mammoth world tour, but took time out with her friends to visit Downing Street in Westminster every single day to try and catch a glimpse of Number 10’s Chief Mouser.
Taking to TikTok Molly explained she was in London for nine days and would visit the official residence and the office of the British Prime Minister every day until she spotted Larry.
In the clip, which racked up 124,000 views, she wrote: ‘Looking for Larry the cat while in London for the Eras tour. We have nine days to find him, will we succeed?’
She started the video by saying: ‘Day number one, no Larry, day number two, no Larry – but we saw a dog.

‘Day number three, still no Larry but there is a protester, apparently Larry was out there but just not at this moment. Day number four – still no Larry the cat.
‘Day number five – still no Larry the cat but the police officer behind us swears it’s not a conspiracy. Day number six – still no Larry the cat, however they saw him outside this morning and they said he likes to chase crows.
‘Day number seven – we missed Larry by 20 minutes and they said he even came up to the gate. Day number eight – still no Larry the cat but they gave this sick pin which is the next best thing.’
As they approached their final day in the UK, the Swifties were feeling deflated after seven unsuccessful days in a row – but it seems the feline had heard their calls.
On their ninth visit to Downing Street, the three pals finally caught a glimpse of Larry as he patrolled the road – and a police officer picked him up to make sure they had a good view of him.
Molly added: ‘Day nine, we finally saw Larry the cat! He’s so cute, he’s so cute! Look at him just sitting there.’
Many cat lovers flocked to the comments after they were left impressed by Molly’s mission.
One person said: ‘Not the officer looking startled by you guys screaming for Larry! LARRY IS SO CUTE.’ To which Molly replied: ‘Larry is the best thing ever. The officer is the same one who gave me the pin the day before!’
Another said: ‘Larry all nonchalant at the end wondering what all the fuss was about.’ Molly replied: ‘Little does he know how iconic he is.’

Someone else said: ‘In London for the Eras Tour? No I think you were in London for Larry.’ Molly added: ‘Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone.’
Known affectionately as ‘Chief Mouser,’ Downing Street’s most beloved resident may not rule over the country, but he certainly rules over the nation’s hearts.
Larry the Cat has been a permanent resident at Number 10 for the past 12 years, and has seen six prime ministers come and go, from David Cameron to current occupant Sir Keir Starmer – who has recently moved his rescue cat Jo Jo.
Larry’s journey at the famous address began in 2011 when he was adopted from Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, initially as a pet for Cameron’s children.
Over time, however, the brown and white tabby has become synonymous with Number 10, not only for his mousing skills but also for his endearing antics, tense stand-offs with four-legged rivals and occasional brushes with international stardom.
As the 17-year-moggy now faces the challenges of old age, including a battle with arthritis, Downing Street officials have begun quietly preparing for his eventual passing.
While his funeral plans remain shrouded in mystery, there’s no doubt that Larry’s legacy will be honoured in a manner befitting his long and distinguished service.
