Sarah Ferguson made a statement in a gorgeous, bottle green gown on Thursday evening as she posed with pal Ellie Goulding at a gala in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Duchess of York, 64, beamed as she posed for photographs on the red carpet ahead of The Perfect World Foundation’s awards ceremony.
Each year the glitzy, star-studded occasion presents its honorary award to a public figure who has contributed to global conservation efforts.
The Duchess, who is better known as ‘Fergie’, appeared pally with singer Ellie, 37, who chose a champagne-coloured gown embellished with sequins for the lavish event, with the pair walking side by side.
Their friendship dates back several years, with Sarah attending Ellie’s August 2019 wedding at York Minister Cathedral along with her daughters.

The Love Me Like You Do hitmaker became good friends with the Duchess after they met through Sarah’s daughter Princess Eugenie, who is close pals with Ellie.
Eugenie and Ellie used to be spotted out frequenting the Chiltern Firehouse in London’s affluent area of Marylebone, and Sarah and her other daughter Princess Beatrice joined them from time to time.
Ellie attended Eugenie’s wedding to husband Jack Brooksbank in October 2019 at Windsor Castle, and even got up to perform for the couple at the The Royal Lodge after-party.
At tonight’s event, Sarah was a picture of glamour in her form-fitting, full-length, caped green gown, which she paired with a clutch bag in the same shade with a glitzy fastening.
The mother of Princess Beatrice and Eugenie accessorised her outfit with a pair of dramatic silver earrings.
She wore her hair auburn hair down and brushed to one side, and added a touch of blusher along with dark eyeliner and lip gloss.
Ellie, meanwhile, dazzled in a shimmering silver gown as she made an appearance at the glitzy environmental charity gala on Thursday night.
The singer showed off her sense of style in the dress which featured a sheer sequin top that flowed out into a flattering silk skirt.

The King’s niece, 34, is thought to have attended the glamorous occasion to mark Nothing but a ‘G’ Thang: The Art and Archive of G-Dragon on Monday, in Seoul.
Eugenie, who was likely invited to the event in her role as an Associate Director for gallery Hauser & Wirth, put on a stunning display in a metallic-themed midi dress from London-based designer Peter Pilotto.
Clips from the lavish party were shared to social media and royal fans were quick to spot the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah in the videos.
The beaming royal was keen to capture special moments, with the footage showing the mother-of-two filming the hosts on her phone as they were speaking.

It’s unclear if Eugenie travelled solo for her trip to South Korea, or if she was joined on the apparent business trip by her husband, Jack Brooksbank, and their two young children, August, three, and Ernest, one.
Dressed to impress, Eugenie’s sleeveless blue and gold gown featured cinched waist detailing, a billowing sheer skirt and a high neckline.
She teamed the impressive look with a pair of glittering golden earrings and a gold leather sandals from Aquazzura.
It’s not the first time the royal has worn the stylish dress; in 2019, she sported the ensemble at the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award presentations at Buckingham Palace.
For Monday’s lavish occasion, Eugenie opted for a glamorous smattering of makeup and sported loose curls in her hair.
