Harry Clarke emerged victorious in Friday’s nail-biting final of The Traitors as he took home the £95,150 cash prize after outsmarting his fellow players.
The 23-year-old British Army Corporal fought off competition from 20 other contestants all vying to win up to £100,000 in the famous castle as part of the intense psychological game.

Yet Mollie stayed loyal to her friendship, changing the name on her chalkboard at the last minute from Harry, to Jaz only to find out the heartbreaking truth that Harry was a traitor.

The second UK instalment of The Traitors has been jam packed with manipulation, deception and unexpected twist and turns
Ash became the first traitor to be banished after Paul decided to throw her under the bus at the roundtable after deciding she was a weak player and was already sparking suspicion
As viewers wondered how producers would manage to top series one of the show, the second UK instalment of The Traitors has been jam packed with manipulation, deception and unexpected twist and turns.
There’s been backstabbing, recruitments and even a surprise secret mother and son duo who had all the other players completely fooled.
The series began with Claudia picking traitors Paul, Ash and Harry, who then decided to also recruit Miles.
Sadly Ash became the first traitor to be banished after Paul decided to throw her under the bus at the roundtable after deciding she was a weak player and was already sparking suspicion.
However the villain failed to get a majority vote, resulting in a rather awkward evening in the turret as Ash faced her two teammates who had turned against her, as she exclaimed :’I’m p*****d off’.
But after choosing to put herself in the dungeon alongside Paul, the traitors decision backfired as it only reinforced people’s belief that Ash was a Traitor, with her putting herself up as a double bluff.
Miles was the next traitor to leave the game in another shocking twist as Paul, once again, decided to point the finger at a fellow traitor.
After Diane’s dramatic funeral, Paul told how Diane had named Miles as her murderer after she drank from the dreaded poisoned chalice and sealed her fate.

Miles had handed Diane the poisoned chalice that sealed her fate, but she wasn’t killed off straight away as they first attended a funeral for her, and she aired her suspicions about Miles

As Paul’s cockiness grew, the villain became too comfortable and it wasn’t long before Harry pulled out all the stops to off his fellow traitor
The tense round table saw Miles refuse to go down without a fight as he then turned on Paul, with Harry using the moment to secretly whisper to Zack his theory that they could both be Traitors.
With Miles gone, Paul and Harry decided to recruit insurance broker Andrew, who accepted the traitor’s offer, but seemed wary after learning it had been Paul voting out his own kind.
As Paul’s cockiness grew, the villain became too comfortable and it wasn’t long before Harry pulled out all the stops to off his fellow traitor who had become notorious on the show for his ‘Oscar-worthy’ acting skills and mass manipulation.
During the round table, people began to turn on Paul for the first time as Harry rallied the group, after days of Jaz being the only person to suspect him.
A shocked Paul said to camera of Harry’s betrayal: ‘He really went for me, he had his eyes wide open with his role as a Traitor.’
‘I think even little Harry has learnt from the way I’m playing it, the way he took me down was perfect. I’ve fallen on my own sword,’ he added.
With just two traitors remaining, Harry and Andrew chose to recruit Ross to their team, yet things almost took an unexpected turn as Ross promised to avenge his mum’s death.
After Harry boasted that they murdered Diane ‘to put her in her place’, Ross saw red as he told to the camera: ‘My mum was murdered. So, I will take revenge. If I’ve got an opportunity, they are getting it’.
With just two traitors remaining, the pair then decided they would recruit Ross to their team, yet things almost took an unexpected turn as Ross promised to avenge his mum’s death
Yet sadly his plan didn’t work and Ross lasted less than 24 hours as a traitor before he was banished at the roundtable.
After spending the day in Zach’s firing line based on a theory surrounding the shield, the group ultimately voted to banish him.
However, as the video director, 28, stood ready to leave the castle, he dropped the bombshell that he had not been playing the game alone.
‘I will just leave you with one little Easter egg before I go,’ Ross said. ‘I was actually the son of someone in this game… and that person was Diane.’
The reveal sent shockwaves around the round table, and the double reveal of Ross both being a Traitor and Diane’s son overwhelmed the group.
‘Oh my days Rossy Ross,’ said Harry, who was involved in Diane’s murder and meant Ross had to watch her be buried in a coffin.
‘We obviously killed Diane and made Ross go to his own mum’s funeral. This game is mad.’
After the traitors chose Zach for their final murder and the penultimate episode saw Jasmine banished, the fans were divided over how the final would play out with Harry and Andrew fighting as the two remaining traitors against faithfuls Evie, Mollie and Jaz.
