A balding man was left in disbelief after an amazing transformation gave him a full head of hair which admirers say make him look ‘so much younger’.
The 26-year-old popped in for a visit at a salon in North East England but little did he know he would return a new man with a shedload of new fans.
Hairdresser Rob Wood, owner of Novo Cabelo salons, worked his magic on the young man, Jake, who said he had first noticed his hair thinning at the age of 18.
Speaking before the makeover, Jake said he thought the thing that was ‘really tricky’ was ‘having to think about it constantly’.
‘You’re always thinking – do I look good and am I okay?’ he said.

The nimble-fingered barber told Jake he could have whatever style his heart desired but added he thought it might be nice to have a ‘gentleman scissor cut’.
Jake appeared slightly unsure initially as to what the result might be but was left visibly shocked when he removed a pair of sunglass-style specs to view the change.
Chopping and shaving his way into Jake’s hair, Rob had carefully selected real human hair to match the Jake’s colour, texture and style.
Also known as Mr Cabelo, the specialist barber is known for his use of hair systems – a hair replacement system, also known as hairpiece, toupee, or wig, which is attached to the scalp with adhesives, clips, or weaving.
According to Rob, the hair system can last between four to six months, but requires refitting every three to four weeks.
Jake exclaimed, laughing, ‘that’s crazy’ and ‘that’s amazing’, after the big reveal, running his fingers through the thick dark, brown hair that had been left slicked back on his head.
Users of TikTok rushed in to share their thoughts and praise after the video was uploaded to the popular social media platform.

Speaking of his story, Rob told MailOnline: ‘It all started 10 years ago. Where one of the girls who worked for me, her brother in law was really struggling with his mental health related to his hair loss.
‘So, I did a bit of YouTubing and research to see what was actually out there, and what we could do and that’s when I found the hair systems.’
After testing the hair system out on his colleague’s brother-in-law. Rob decided to open Novo Cabelo and specialise in treating hair loss for everyone.
