Queen Máxima of the Netherlands looked typically stylish in a statement suit as she met with students in Leiden today.

Smiling, the 53-year-old royal chose a bright turquoise satin blazer and matching tailored trousers for her visit to the Door Het Geluid Foundation, which supports the mental wellbeing of students.

Máxima, who shares three daughters with King Willem-Alexander, 57, was first pictured in the turquoise suit in April.

Having originally paired it with a nude-coloured camisole, today she opted for a white round neck top.

Máxima completed her outfit with a beige handbag with a gold fastening and pumps embellished with bows in the same shade.

She added a pair of dramatic gold earrings and wore a diamond bracelet on her right wrist.

The elegant royal opted for burgundy nail varnish, which complemented what appeared to be a red and gold friendship bracelet.

Máxima wore her hair up and in a side-parting while keeping her make-up natural for the occasion.

During her visit to the Door het Geluid Foundation, she joined a workshop about mental health led by young people and posed for a photograph with members of the organisation.

Equipped with a pad and pen, Máxima looked focused and engaged throughout the workshop.

With a wide smile across her face, she appeared delighted to have had the opportunity to take part.

This time last week, the royal appeared to be in high spirits as she joined her family to watch the Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix.

She looked effortlessly elegant in a green blouse and an embroidered white skirt as she attended the Circuit Park in Zandvoort.

Máxima added a khaki trench coat, which has a floral print on the back, and sported white open-toe sandals.

She accessorised her outfit with white flower earrings and a silver bracelet.

Máxima was joined by her husband King Willem-Alexander, who looked dapper in a tan-coloured suit.

The King wore a light blue shirt underneath his blazer and completed the outfit with a pair of polished brown leather shoes.

In a nail-biting race, British driver Lando Norris won the Grand Prix for McLaren.

Most of the crowd of 105,000 people were cheering for their own hero, Max Verstappen, who is one of the country’s best-loved sports stars.

The royal couple’s daughter, Princess Alexia, was also in attendance while her sisters, Catharina-Amalia, Princess of Orange, and Princess Ariane, appeared to have skipped the event.

Nineteen-year-old Alexia wore a simple yet sophisticated ensemble, sporting a black knitted top and a pair of smart navy trousers.

Alexia appeared to be engrossed in the race, filming the drivers whizzing around the track on her smartphone while chatting to her father.
