Cher and her boyfriend Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards were pictured in New York City on Saturday as they attended the afterparty following Saturday Night Live.

The show business icon, 79, sported a blonde mane as she was seen making her way to the A-list gathering following the NBC variety comedy on which she performed.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer donned a black coat and pants with lapels at the bottom, complemented by a glimmering disco sequined top.

The singer of hits such as 1974’s Dark Lady, 1989’s If I Could Turn Back Time, and 1999’s Believe rounded out the ensemble with a glimmering silver necklace and bracelets.  

Edwards, who shares son Slash, six, with ex Amber Rose, was clad in a black crocodile-embossed leather jacket over a white button-up to with a leopard skin print tie.

The Oakland-born rapper rounded out his ensemble with navy blue pants and black shoes, wearing dark-rimmed glasses in the Big Apple.

‘There is absolutely no plans for a wedding in her future,’ a rep for the entertainer told Gossip List.

An insider close to the Oscar-winning Moonstruck star previously told The Mirror that she had been looking at potential dates for a wedding ceremony to coincide with her 80th birthday on May 20.

‘She has set her heart on walking down the aisle with him around the time of her landmark birthday in May,’ the source said. 

The insider added, ‘She sees her upcoming celebration at turning 80 as the perfect time for her and Alexander to seal the deal.’

Daily Mail reached out to reps for both Cher and Alexander for further comment following the first report.

The I Got You Babe singer spoke candidly about the romance with Gayle King on CBS Mornings last month.

‘You know, you get older but your spirit is younger,’ said Cher. ‘I just love him. I think he’s beautiful and he’s really talented.’

Edwards was clad in a black textured coat over a white button-up to with a leopardskin print tie. He rounded out his ensemble with  navy blue pants and black shoes

When King inquired about trolls targeting the age gap in the relationship, Cher said she was unconcerned and living her best life.

‘Nobody knows what goes on between us,’ she said. ‘We just have a blast.’ 

Cher has been consistent in her answers about the age gap over the years.

She said on The Kelly Clarkson Show in December of 2022: ‘On paper, it’s kind of ridiculous. But in real life, we get along great.’
