David Beckham has given Marc Anthony a public show of support after it was revealed the singer was at the centre of the Brooklyn Beckham wedding drama.
On Wednesday morning Marc, 57, who is a longtime family friend of David and his wife Victoria, revealed that his wife Nadia Ferreira, 26, is expecting a baby – the musician’s eighth child.
The couple confirmed the happy news on Instagram, marking their third wedding anniversary with a photo of Nadia’s bump.
Among Marc’s 13.9million followers, David commented, tagging the couple and writing: ‘Soooooo excited ❤️❤️’
David, along with his son Romeo, also liked a post from Marc earlier this week promoting his upcoming Las Vegas residency.
Some fans were shocked David is still on such friendly terms with Marc, so soon after his name was at the centre of Brooklyn’s bombshell statement.

David and Victoria’s eldest son blew up their family feud last week with the release of a six page statement in which he said he did not want to reconcile with his parents and has ‘chosen’ a ‘peaceful’ life with his wife Nicola.
At the centre of Brooklyn’s statement was the allegation that his mum Victoria had ‘hijacked’ his first dance with Nicola at their 2022 wedding when Marc ‘called me to the stage’
He went on to claim that his mum ‘danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.
Whilst Marc has yet to comment on the drama, Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding DJ Fat Tony has placed the blame on the Latin singer.
Tony, a longtime friend of the Beckhams revealed Marc had called Victoria to the dance floor with her son and instructed him, ‘place your hands on your mother’s hips’.
He explained: ‘There was no slut-dropping, there was no PVC cat suits, no Spice Girl action!
‘The word “inappropriate”, why I said it was as well, it was the timing, this is what happened.’

Tony continued: ‘What happened was, basically, Marc Anthony was performing on stage, he then called Brooklyn onto stage.
‘Brooklyn went on to the stage, and the next minute everyone’s expecting Nicola to go up and do the first dance, and then Marc asked for the most beautiful woman in the room to come to the stage – and then he says “Victoria, come to the stage”.’
He revealed that Brooklyn looked ‘devastated’ at the fact his first dance was with Victoria and not his wife, adding that Nicola left the room ‘crying her eyes out’.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, the DJ said at one point Brooklyn’s hands were on his mother’s waist while her arms were placed around his neck.
‘The timing was inappropriate for me. It was meant to be a bride and groom’s moment,’ he told us.

‘It was in the heat of the moment. Brooklyn left right after the dance. Nicola left the room and afterwards he went after her.’
He went on: ‘Brooklyn is a friend of mine. The whole situation is just awful, the way it’s played out so publicly.
‘Families are families, I don’t know what started it. At one point someone might say something publicly.’
He continued: ‘Brooklyn is upset about a lot of things, sometimes the smallest of things can become the biggest of things, because it highlights it.
‘I’m not speaking bad about either party in it, I’m just putting the narrative straight about the dance.’
