Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, has taken inspiration from Kate Middleton and stepped out in the sell-out white cotton espadrille wedges by Penelope Chilvers this week.

The Duchess attended an afternoon tea in Windsor on Wednesday, wearing a summery blue eyelet dress by sustainable brand Aspiga paired with ankle-tie peep toe espadrille heels.

Sophie has been wearing these wedges regularly since 2023, likely inspired by Kate, who debuted her favourite pair of summer heels in May 2019.
