I’m A Celeb viewers branded Nella Rose ‘insensitive’ after she told Sam Thompson to ‘calm down’.
The influencer, 26, was nervous ahead of her latest trial and found Sam’s excitable nature and mention of spiders too much to handle.
Nella spoke to EastEnders star Danielle Harold, 31, about the situation before making the Made in Chelsea star, also 31, who has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) sit down for a moment of silence and ‘zen’.
ADHD is defined by a short attention span and poor impulse control, with Sam diagnosed with the condition in 2022.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer said: ‘Nella… it’s called ADHD, educate yourself’.

While a second wrote: ‘If Nella took a step back and considered someone else’s feelings other than hers she’d remember Sam has ADHD’.
A third said: ‘Again, i’m not attacking her at all. I like Nella. but from a perspective of someone who works with people with ADHD, i know how the way she communicated it, wasn’t the right way. people with ADHD don’t need to be patronised.. that’s all!’.
Someone else typed: ‘RIGHT WTF WAS NELLA TRYING CALM A PERSON WITH ADHD DOWN’.`
And: As a fellow ADHD’er, seeing Nella talking about Sam like the way she was and saying he needs to calm down actually hurt, you can see he doesn’t mean harm bless him’.
Another wrote: ‘Why is Nella talking to Sam like he’s a child? He has ADHD and cannot help being overly enthusiastic/loud at times. Shut up man’.
While someone else said: ‘That was so unfair for nella to say that about sam hes so lovely and his energy is so infectious he cant help the way he is he has ADHD she doesn’t understand!’
Following the latest challenge The Sun reported how bosses feared ‘exhausted’ Nella could quit the show after bailing mid- trail , leaving clear to claim victory
With a source telling the publication: “It’s clear the celeb is exhausted – the trial sparked fears in camp that this particular contestant could be set to walk if faced with much more,”

It comes after Sam’s best pal Pete Wicks said his friend ‘should not be defined by his ADHD and autism’,
The TV personality, 35, told MailOnline that fans need to ’embrace’ Sam’s excitable personality after he was branded ‘attention seeking’ and ‘annoying’ by viewers.
And while Pete, who is flying to Australia next week to support Sam ahead of the eliminations, admits that although the Made In Chelsea favourite can be ‘aggravating’ and is a ‘bit full on’ when you first meet him, he has urged the I’m A Celeb audience to enjoy his positivity.
Earlier this year, Sam was diagnosed with ADHD and autism after undergoing tests in his Channel 4 documentary Is This ADHD? and said the realisation was a ‘weight lifted off his shoulders.’
Former TOWIE star Pete says his friend’s diagnosis means he will struggle with life in the jungle, but it shouldn’t stop ITV viewers from getting to know the real Sam on a more personal level.
Pete said: ‘Sam is a grower, not a shower, let’s put it that way.

‘I know he got a bit of grief on the first night for being over the top but that is him and that’s the reason that everyone loves him. I think he’s a superstar just the way he is. It just takes a bit of time if you’re not used to it.
‘It’s like having a big child… that’s how he sees me, I like to think it’s brotherly, but I think he sees me as his dad.
‘He is quite obviously aggravating, however, that is the Sam that we know, and love and I specifically love. I’m hoping that he can continue being the happy puppy that he is.
‘Sam struggles with boredom and a lot of things because of his ADHD and autism but that shouldn’t be seen as a bad thing. I have read a lot of comments and it’s something that I believe shouldn’t define him.
‘People should embrace that because he’s entertaining and that’s what the show is about. He should be defined by the fact that he’s a really fun, positive guy and that’s his personality aside from having ADHD and autism.’
I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! continues on Saturday at 9:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
