EXCLUSIVEHumiliation of HSTikkyTokky sidekick Ed Matthews: He plays the hard man and boasts about his lavish life. Now we reveal bitter reality that's so badly 'triggered' him… as the woman at its centre talks to Mail

To the average viewer it looked like any other online livestream, but to his loyal fanbase, something was clearly bothering Ed Matthews.

The controversial internet personality and boxer appeared on the streaming site Kick from Miami on Sunday looking dishevelled and brandishing crutches.

Matthews had started his livestream mere hours after his ex-girlfriend Elsa Rae announced that she was expecting her first child with Marcus John, who she had met on Big Brother just six months ago.

Influencer Elsa, 22, and Ed, 23, had been in an on-off relationship since 2021 before splitting for good in July last year, amid claims that he hadn’t wanted her appearing on the ITV show and had cheated on her.

Evidently, the news of her latest relationship with Marcus John and the revelation of their baby on the way has been a blow to Ed.

One source told me: ‘Ed pretends it doesn’t bother him to protect his image, but you can tell he’s upset.

‘They were together for a long time and only split last year. It is still fresh.’

On Sunday, Ed was joined on camera by Clavicular, real name Braden Eric Peters, an online influencer and ‘looksmaxxer’, as they travelled across Miami in a large Mercedes van.

The comment section of their video was flooded with messages taunting Ed about Elsa’s baby news, with some concerned voices pointing out that he looked rather sad.

When Ed’s new pal Clav, 20, asked what the messages meant, Ed laughed and said, ‘I’m happy for her,’ but a confused Clav responded: ‘Are you not the father?’

Ed once again shrugged it off.

They then arrived at a ‘rage room’, where visitors pay to destroy items such as electronics, furniture and glassware as a way to relieve stress and anger.

No longer laughing, Ed was seen aggressively smashing up a wardrobe with a baseball bat. But the influencer struggled to move around the room effectively without his crutches. Having broken his shinbone in January after jumping off a van for a social media stunt, he has been partially immobilised.

After the rage room and still filming himself on the livestream, Essex-born Ed headed back to his luxurious accommodation, where he turned on TTS (text-to-speech), meaning stream comments from viewers are played out loud with an AI voice.

One told Ed: ‘I know you are getting quite a bit of s***, I know you are upset. We know you are hurting.’

Ed’s laughter quickly turned to frustration, as he snapped: ‘I’m not. I don’t give a f***, it has been so long.’

Elsa and Marcus revealed this weekend that they were expecting their first child together, just six months after meeting on Big Brother in 2025.

The influencer and mechanical engineer announced the news on Instagram, writing: ‘We’ve been keeping a little secret… our bubba due October 2026! we are so very excited xx.’

The social media post featured a snap of her scan and a baby romper alongside some adorable knitted booties.

Last year viewers watched as Elsa and Marcus met in the Big Brother house and quickly fell for each other.

Despite some on-screen tension and awkward moments during their time on screen, the pair have been inseparable since the series came to an end in November.

The couple told the Daily Mail this weekend: ‘We feel very excited about being first-time parents, and naturally nervous at first, but we can’t wait for our new chapter and adventure with our new little life in it. We weren’t trying, but it’s the best surprise ever.’

Elsa added: ‘I never thought that I’d find love let alone the love of my life on TV, but one thing I did say to Will and AJ when they asked what would be the best to come out of Big Brother, I answered “a happy ending” and I truly got that. I couldn’t be happier.’

Essex-born Elsa rose to fame during her four-year romance with social media star and boxer Ed.

They began dating when she was 15 and he was 18, with their toxic relationship often playing out on livestreams in front of thousands of viewers.

‘I reached out to my brother. His dad is blocking us’: HSTikkyTokky’s bitter family feud revealed

In July 2025, the couple’s final split became public when Ed posted a video stating: ‘If you don’t think you’re gonna marry that girl, there’s no point wasting years.’

Their break-up took an ugly turn when Ed admitted to cheating. In a video filmed after seeing Elsa on Big Brother chatting with Marcus, he told followers: ‘I found out a few months ago boys, all I heard was, “I’m going on Big Brother”.

‘I was like, “I don’t want you to do that”, and she was like, “I need to focus on my career”, and that’s when I cheated. I was like, I’m going to get sucky now. You’re telling me not to cheat, and I’m going to go f***ing cheat.’

When Elsa was first involved with Ed, she would often appear alongside him on social media and gradually built her own follower count to more than 450,000.

Ed, who recently featured on Louis Theroux’s Inside The Manosphere Netflix documentary, has 389,000 followers on Instagram and, along with his crew, is famous for viral stunts and spreading misogynist views online.

The group includes Harrison Sullivan, 24, more commonly known online as HSTikkyTokky.

Ed joined Theroux and Harrison in the documentary, to talk about his growing presence on livestreaming sites, that saw him ‘chatting up’ girls, and taking part in so-called ‘predator stings’ – confronting and humiliating people he accused of being predators or paedophiles while filming the encounters.

On the documentary Ed, 23, proudly showed Theroux how he had forced some of the individuals to eat pet food as part of the ‘sting’ content, and bragged about the punishment as ‘worse than jail’.

He also opened up on his conspiracy theory beliefs, telling Louis: ‘I feel like the people who run the world, they don’t have our best intentions… they use vibrations that are negatively going to bring you down.’

When asked by Theroux who he thought ‘controlled all of that’, Ed left viewers shocked with a deeply anti-Semitic response. ‘The Jews,’ he replied.

However, since the documentary’s release, Ed has chosen not to respond to any of the online backlash, instead resuming his regular livestreaming schedule on Kick with videos of himself partying alongside other controversial influencers.

But it is apparent that, while Ed might be putting on a front to protect his ‘bad boy’ image, it appears he cares about his ex-girlfriend far more than he is letting on.
