A lip reader has revealed what was really said between Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick at Tuesday night’s premiere of Another Simple Favor in London – and it looks like the two were keeping things surface level. 

Over the past few weeks, the two costars have been on a string of ‘awkward’ press appearances together, in order to promote their new film amid rumors of a feud. 

But in an attempt to prove all is well, Lively and Kendrick put on smiles as they celebrated their upcoming movie together on Tuesday night. 

The two posed together on the red carpet, exchanging just a few words before they got ready for their photos to be snapped by a sea of photographers.

Lip reader Nicola Hickling, the founder of Lipreader.co.uk, broke down the lackluster conversation exclusively to DailyMail.com.

‘I feel so over…’ Kendrick said, according to Hickling, before she turned away from the camera, making her lips unreadable.

The two actresses were then seen laughing together, as Kendrick continued, ‘Oh and other one.’ 

 ‘Do you like my earrings? Are you wearing gold?’ Lively then reportedly asked the star, to which she replied, ‘No.’

‘Before, they kept catching my hair under there,’ Lively continued, according to Hickling.   

After the brief exchange, the two turned towards the photographers and posed for more photos as Lively told the paparazzi, ‘Wow, thanks guys.’

On the carpet, the two ladies wore coordinated outfits, with Lively in a long, black leather coat dress and Kendrick in a lacy, black two-piece dress with ruffled sleeves.

The leading stars have been hit by ongoing speculation that they’re ‘secretly feuding’ after reuniting on set – five years after the original movie came out. 

Hours before the London premiere, Lively and Kendrick looked to be in a tense exchange at the Corinthia Hotel as they promoted the new film ahead of its launch on Prime Video on May 1.

Meanwhile, some fans accused Lively of pulling a ‘power move’ on Kendrick by wearing a pair of knee-high Chanel boots that highlighted the height difference between the two stars.

To make matters worse, Lively’s co-star had an awkward response to a question about working with her on the film.

‘Oh you know…’ Kendrick cryptically said on the red carpet when asked what it was like to work with Lively again. 

‘Do you like my earrings? Are you wearing gold?’ Lively reportedly asked the star, to which she replied, ‘No’

However, it is worth noting that a stony-faced Kendrick departed the Another Simple Favor screening separately from Lively

The movie’s South by Southwest premiere last month became overshadowed by Lively’s ongoing legal drama with her It Ends With Us costar Justin Baldoni.

Their appearance included a protestor brandishing a ‘Justice for Justin Baldoni’ sign, while Lively had a seemingly icy reunion with Kendrick. 

Per their lackluster conversation, it doesn’t seem like they brought their drama to the London premiere on Tuesday.

However, it is worth noting that a stony-faced Kendrick departed the Another Simple Favor screening separately from Lively.

The premiere comes at quite an interesting time, as Lively has been embroiled in legal drama with Baldoni, 41, since December 2024 after she accused him of sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign against her.

He denies the allegations and responded with a $400 million lawsuit against the actress as well as filing a $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times which reported on Lively’s allegations.
