Brooklyn Beckham has been blasted by fans who have pointed out how his parents Victoria and David backed all of his career changes following his scathing online attack.

The 26-year-old took to social media on Monday night to break his silence on his long-running feud with his family as he declared he did ‘not want to reconcile’ with the clan.

In his six-page statement, Brooklyn accused his parents of intentionally trying to break up his relationship to wife Nicola Peltz.

Brooklyn also claimed he has been ‘controlled by a family that values public promotion above all else’ and that since being with Nicola, he has found ‘peace and relief’ after battling crippling anxiety. 

He also alleged Victoria, who has her own fashion brand, cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress at the ‘eleventh hour’ and hijacked their first dance which left him so ’embarrassed’ they decided to renew their vows without his family last year.

However, Brooklyn’s impassioned statement about his family has left fans pointing out how his parents have supported every career he has wanted to explore.

Nepo baby Brooklyn previously tried to forge out a football career just like his dad David, 50, although quit after realising it would be ‘difficult’ to live up to his reputation.

He had previously played in Arsenal’s youth academy but decided to give up the sport when the club released him at 16. 

Brooklyn also tried his hand at photography and released his infamous What I See book in 2017, sharing captures of his life and family.

At the time, Brooklyn was criticised for including blurry, shadowy images of elephants in Kenya as he simply captioned the captures ‘so hard to photograph’.

Brooklyn also went into modelling before eventually setting his sights on cooking, where the budding chef launched his hot sauce company Cloud 23.

Taking to social media, fans said how Brooklyn didn’t mind his parents’ help when it came to using the family ‘brand’ as a springboard for his career changes and how he has his billionaire heiress wife to ‘fall back’.

One said: ‘Y’all not going to convince me that Brooklyn Beckham is a victim of his parents when they supported him in every one of his careers, especially when they financed his photography facet and that was his job. I’m dying at the descriptions’;

In an impassioned statement, Brooklyn wrote: ‘I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. 

‘Unfortunately my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.

‘I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.

‘For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.
