Nearly 100 firefighters have rushed to a devastating fire at a block of terraced houses in London tonight.
More than a dozen fire engines were called to Emperor’s Gate in South Kensington after midnight after the blaze broke out on Friday, March 1.
Video taken from the scene shows flames tearing through the roof and the top floor of the structure as firefighters try to douse the inferno.
Footage shared on social media shows multiple emergency services at the scene, with a cordon in place to stop members of the public getting through.
London Fire Brigade said 15 people had evacuated the five-storey building before it arrived. It is not known at this time whether anyone has been injured.

In a statement, LFB said: ‘Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to a fire at a terraced house converted into flats on Emperor’s Gate in South Kensington.
‘Half of the ground floor of the five storey building is alight. Around 15 people left the building before the Brigade arrived.

‘The Brigade was called at 0031 and is still at the scene. Fire crews from Kensington, Fulham, Battersea, Hammersmith, Chelsea, North Kensington and surrounding fire stations are in attendance.
‘The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.’
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea tweeted: ‘We are aware of the situation and liaising with emergency services to offer support.
