The imposing Game of Thrones castle that was used as the location for Riverrun in the hit show can be bought by one lucky fan for £675k.

The castle gained international fame after it featured in the show as Riverrun, the ancestral home of House Tully.
It was the location for the execution of Rickard Karstark being beheaded by Robb Stark in season three, and the siege of Riverrun by Jamie Lannister in season six.

It was sold for less than the £500,000 asking price after several months on the market.
The section of the castle which is now up for sale is advertised as a ‘semi-detached house’.

The castle is outfitted with gas central heating and even has a lift and two automatic gates.

Located on the outskirts of Armagh City, County Armagh, Gosford Castle was constructed in the early 19th century between 1819 and 1825.
The castle was built for Archibald Acheson, the 2nd Earl of Gosford, who was a prominent figure in British and Irish politics.
Designed by renowned architect Thomas Hopper who was known for his Gothic Revival style, the castle is a prime example of the movement that was popular during the 19th century.
The Gothic Revival style is characterized by its battlements, turrets, and large windows.
