Harper Beckham took Paris Fashion Week by storm on Tuesday, stepping out in head-to-toe designer pieces for a family outing.

As the only daughter of Posh Spice turned fashion designer Victoria, Harper has access to 24/7 styling expertise not to mention an enviable closet to raid.

And it seemed as though the 14-year-old had borrowed one of her mum’s most prized pieces for the Paris outing on Tuesday.

The teenager casually slung a 90’s vintage jumbo flap Chanel bag, worth between £3,000 – £5,000, over her shoulder, the same classic style her mother was regularly spotted with in the noughties. 

Harper teamed her Chanel with a furry navy jacket and washed black jeans, likely to be from Victoria’s eponymous clothes line which features an array of denims retailing for £400. 

Harper was in the French capital during Haute Couture Fashion Week to support her mother Victoria, 51, who received a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters honour during a ceremony the night before.

Victoria has previously insisted she isn’t ‘precious’ about sharing her designer wardrobe with her children, but there is one item she will not loan out to her teenager. 

In a 2024 interview with Vogue, the fashion mogul spoke openly about sharing her closet, admitting: ‘I’m not too precious about [my wardrobe] unless it’s Hermès.’

‘When Harper eyes up those handbags [I say]: “Not just yet.” I love my clothes, I look after my clothes, and they are there to be enjoyed.’

‘If one of the young ones wants to borrow my clothes, whether it’s Harper or one of the boys’ girlfriends, that’s flattery because they are significantly younger than me,’ she added. 

Harper wasn’t always so keen to borrow from her mum though, Back in 2015 Victoria told The Telegraph that her then four-year-old daughter was particularly vocal about her parents’ fashion sense.

She divulged: ‘The kids definitely tell me when they like what I’m wearing. I had something on to pick up Harper from school the other day, and she asked me if I would please not wear that for school pick-up.’

‘I think at that age they just want you to sort of blend in, don’t they?’

The trip to Paris marked the Beckham clan’s first public appearance since Brooklyn’s damning statement where he accused his parents of ‘controlling’ him, trying to ruin his marriage and humiliating him. He also hit out at his brothers Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20.

The Beckham clan appeared determined not to allow their family drama to overshadow Victoria’s achievement, as she was presented with the prestigious accolade by the French Ministry of Culture on Monday.

The award recognises the individual contributions of artists, writers, and cultural figures to the arts and literature, and previous recipients include Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.

And in her acceptance speech, the Spice Girl made special mention of her children, as she thanked them for ‘always believing in my vision’, despite Brooklyn’s recent vitriolic claims against her.

She was presented the prestigious honour by the French Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati.

Taking to the podium in front of the star-studded crowd, with her family stood proudly in front, Victoria began: ‘I’d like to start by thanking the French ministry of culture and the Minister of Culture, Madame Rachida Dati. For this honour and for your kind words, I am extremely grateful.
