Ivanka Trump has given fans a glimpse of what went on behind the scenes of her father’s nationally televised joint address before Congress on Tuesday evening.

Ivanka, 43, and husband Jared Kushner were in Washington, D.C., to support President Trump on March 4 as he spoke about his vision to create the next American ‘Golden Age.’

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday morning, the First Daughter shared some snaps from the evening – including one of her and her dad posing side-by-side in the kitchen. 

Ivanka showed off her svelte figure in a chic knee-length black dress, which she teamed with a matching blazer, while President Trump wore a navy blue suit and a red tie.

As the father and daughter duo grinned for the camera, they appeared to be enjoying a glass of tomato juice as the discarded can could be seen on the kitchen counter.

In another sweet snap, Ivanka leans into her dad as they pose in front of some artwork in an ornate gold frame.

She also included a photo of herself and Jared, 44, sitting at a dinner table with President Trump – but it’s unclear what food the trio tucked into.

Ivanka shared a different snap of some framed scripture, which included the Gettysburg Address – a speech delivered by Abraham Lincoln in November 1863.

Ivanka’s husband Jared was also in attendance to support Trump and posed for a photo with them both

The mother-of-three captioned the photo: ’48 hours in DC!’ and her 8.3 million followers were quick to comment on it.

‘Love the picture… elegance at its finest,’ one person wrote, while another said: ‘Amazing people.’

A third commented: ‘Beautiful photos! All the hard work your family is doing is so appreciated!’

And a fourth person said, ‘Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!!!’ and a fifth added: ‘The classiest most amazing family.’

Someone else told her: ‘You must be so proud. Your dad is doing amazing things and saving our country.’ 

Ivanka’s appearance in DC comes after she made the decision to step away from any White House role this term.

Jared and Ivanka, who served as advisers in the first Trump administration, have been somewhat distant from the president since he left office in 2021. 

They have largely focused on their lives in Florida, raising their three young children children and did not join the 2024 Trump campaign or come back to the White House in the second Trump term.

Ivanka Trump did make it clear they would be an emotional support for the president.

‘I’m most looking forward to just being able to show up for him as a daughter and be there for him, to take his mind off things and like watch a movie with him or watch a sports game, to know that he can be with me and be himself, and just relax,’ she told The Skinny Confidential podcast.

Jared and Ivanka maintained a personal connection to Trump even as they stepped away from the political business.  

The couple spoke to him often and even traveled the 70-something miles between Miami and Palm Beach for the occasional round of golf, DailyMail.com learned.

They also spent their summers at a home they own on Trump’s National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., where the Trump clan gathered to escape the Florida heat and enjoy the property’s amenities.
