First daughter-in-law Lara Trump took Secret Service Director Sean Curran for a wild ride – as she toured the agency’s Raleigh training center for her Fox News show.

‘In case you missed it, here’s me jeopardizing the life of the Secret Service director and not being hired to be a Secret Service driver,’ she posted to X Tuesday, sharing a segment of her Saturday program.

The wife of Eric Trump, Lara co-chaired the Republican National Committee during the 2024 cycle, and turned down the opportunity to be a U.S. senator, instead hosting a weekly Fox program, My View with Lara Trump.

On this week’s episode, Curran and another Secret Service official gave Trump a driving lesson.

‘You’re actually going to get the chance to do a J-turn, something I don’t think your husband has done,’ Curran told Trump before the hopped into the Secret Service vehicle.

Curran sat in the back, while another Secret Service official rode shotgun.

Trump twice did the maneuver on camera, though the first time it wasn’t quite right.

‘I ran over a cone!’ she exclaimed.

The second time was more successful, though Curran joked that he didn’t have the budget to bring Trump on.

‘We don’t have it in the budget for any more cones though,’ he joked.

Trump also showed some canines in training at the facility and did a walk-through of a garage containing presidential vehicles including ‘The Beast’ – the presidential limousine – and the ornate motorcycles used to lead the motorcade.

Curran showed Trump some vintage Secret Service vehicles, including cars that dated back to the Reagan years.

She also got a look at plans to build a replica of the White House at the facility to assist with Secret Service training.

President Donald Trump chose Curran to lead the Secret Service on January 22 – two days after Trump was sworn-in – after he led the now-president’s detail prior to inauguration.

‘Sean is a great patriot, who has protected my family over the past few years, and that is why I trust him to lead the brave men and women of the United States Secret Service,’ the president said in a statement.

Curran was present in Butler, Pennsylvania when Trump survived the assassination attempt at his rally on July 13.

The Associated Press photo – that has now become a portrait hanging in the White House’s entryway – shows Curran next to Trump as the GOP nominee yelled ‘fight, fight, fight.’

‘He proved his fearless courage when he risked his own life to help save mine from an assassin’s bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania,’ Trump said.

‘I have complete and total confidence in Sean to make the United States Secret Service stronger than ever before,’ he added.

Curran was sworn-in on March 10.

He took Lara Trump around what looked like a mock town and explained that they’re getting training on how to handle the president attending large-scale events, admitting that it was ‘something that our agency wasn’t quite used to.’

A main feature of Trump’s three presidential campaigns were his massive rallies, which he’ll likely continue in the future, despite not being a candidate.

‘We are training our agents and officers to be prepared for those large-scale events that have become new to us and so often,’ Curran said.
