Bayford put his eight-bedroom Grade II listed Georgian mansion on the market four years ago, but eventually decided to remain there and his new fiancée Tracey Biles has since moved in with him.

The house was originally built for racehorse trainer Stanlake Batson in 1815 and Bayford paid about £6.5 million for the house in 2012.

It was later given a complete renovation by A&D Builders, with extensive electrical work and a new heating system.

The mansion was also completely re-roofed and new courtyards were created in the grounds. The former farmyard was converted into a stud farm and the barns changed to stable blocks.

In May, Mr Bayford gave away several items of furniture on Facebook.

Items including an orthopaedic mattress, a double bed and a dining table with chairs were flogged through a group which helps those in need.
