A 61-year-old Oregon man stuck in a near-death situation at the bottom of a ravine was rescued by officials after his dog quickly took action to save him.
Brandon Garrett of Halfway and his four dogs was on his way to a campsite when his car crashed near US Forest Service Road 39 and ended up stuck at the bottom of an 85-foot-ravine on June 2.

In the meantime, the pup owner was able to pull himself a hundred yards away from the crash and had to spend the night at the site before help could arrive.
