A Thai restaurant has shamed a pair of ‘scruffs’ who enjoyed a £76 meal before fleeing without paying the bill.
In the latest example of so-called ‘dine and dashing’, Lemongrass on Smithdown Road in Liverpool shared CCTV footage of the pair entering the restaurant at around 6.30pm on Sunday, September 10, and asking for a table.
Describing them as ‘very rude’, the restaurant further claims they ‘they had dinner (and) ran away without paying (their) food bill’.
It also shared footage of the pair standing outside smoking around an hour and a half later – before they disappear out of frame, allegedly leaving without settling up.
The man had short hair and was dressed all in black, including a The North Face jacket, while the woman, with dirty blonde hair tied up in a bun, wore a blue top, dark bottoms and dark-coloured trainers.
