Moment drill artist Digga D’s home is raided by armed police on Instagram Live – as rapper, 23, is arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs

This is the moment Digga D’s home was visited by armed police while the rapper was in the middle of an Instagram Live.

Footage shows the 23-year-old – whose real name is Rhys Angelo Emile Herbert – shouting at officers attempting to enter his property earlier today.

The rapper can be heard shouting: ‘What do you lot want, I’m here! I am here! Stop! What are you lot doing?’ He the police he is ‘on the floor’ before an officer shouts ‘armed police’, to which he replies: ‘I am coming! Why are you lot doing that?’

Just before the Instagram live cuts out, he is told to come to the front door with his hands held up.

The Metropolitan Police said a 23-year-old was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and remains in custody.

Digga D is set to make appearances at both Wireless Festival and Reading and Leeds this year. 

Last August he released ‘Back To Square One’, which was his latest mixtape.

He released his first song in 2011 and in the same year formed his own drill group with some of his friends. 

The group was named 1011 after the W10 and W11 post codes in West London.

The group, which also includes members with the stage names ZK, Mskum, Sav’O and Horrid1, released a number of singles up until 2018. 

The Metropolitan Police said in a statement: ‘On Wednesday, 21 February officers carried out a warrant at a residential address in Lincolnshire under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

‘A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. He remains in custody.

‘Enquiries continue.’
