This is the moment a security guard slaps a man so hard that his sunglasses are knocked off his face.
Footage circulating on social media platform X shows a man delivering the blow to a baseball cap-wearing cyclist inside Poundland’s Bradford Forster Square store.
The security guard was from a neighbouring shop and had followed the man into the discount store.
The clip, taken by another customer, shows the pair in a heated argument near the checkouts.
The security guard then grabs and yanks the handlebars of the man’s bicycle. The cyclist then in reaction rolls the front wheel of his bike into the bearded guard who in turn prods the front tyre with his foot.
The duo exchange a few words, which can’t be heard in the video, before the guard erupts and delivers a ferocious slap to the side of the man’s face, causing his sunglasses to spiral off his head and fall onto the ground.

The cyclist bellows ‘no, no’ as a female customer can be heard shouting ‘oi’.
A woman in a pink jacket with a bag across her shoulder and a Poundland staff member appear and trie to split the two men apart.
The discount store employee has to physically restrain the guard and pulls him back before placing his arm around his shoulder and ushering him away.
The man slapped by the guard reappears, seemingly calmed down, and clocks the person recording.
He says: ‘Are you filming this? Are you filming this? Thanks.’
The bizarre spectacle was posted to social media yesterday with the caption: ‘Meanwhile in Poundland Bradford, security slaps a customer.’
Poundland told MailOnline it was aware of the footage and had launched an investigation.
A spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of the video featuring a security guard from a neighbouring retailer who came into our Forster Square store on Sunday.
‘We’re looking into precisely what happened as a matter of priority.’
