A mother gave birth to her baby girl in the bra section of John Lewis and plans to name her child after the high street chain.
Karisma Webster, 32, was shopping with her mother in the department store in Solihull when her waters broke in the underwear aisle.
Ms Webster was not due for another six days so was not expecting to go into labour while doing some last minute shopping for a bra.
She told The Sun: ‘I was in total shock, but the ladies took me into a changing room and cordoned it off.’
She added: ‘Some other ladies who worked at the store came, and luckily one was an ex-midwife.
‘Then one of the ladies said ”Oh gosh, it looks like you are going to have a baby in John Lewis”. The paramedics finally arrived and she was born.’
