  • Elon, 53, is said to have purchased a $35 million estate in Austin, Texas
  • The tech mogul is reported to want all of his eleven children to live in it
  • People on the web are now comparing estate to a ‘cult’

Elon Musk has been compared to a ‘cult leader’ on the internet after it was revealed he’s bought a secret compound for his eleven children to live together.

The Tesla founder, 53, splashed out $35 million on a sprawling Texas estate for his various exes and eleven children to live together.

The billionaire reportedly purchased the multi-mansion Austin compound in hopes that his expanding family could grow up around each other.

However, his family-focused gesture has raised eyebrows with some taking to Instagram to mock the tech mogul’s move.

Some said Elon gave them the ‘creeps’ and claimed his purchase of the 14,000-square-foot compound for millions was ‘giving cult vibes.’

Four insiders told the New York Times, he bought the 14,00-square-foot mansion so his family could live in ‘adjoining properties’, allowing him to ‘schedule time’ for his youngest kids.

However, the revelation didn’t sit well with everyone, with some taking to Instagram to criticize the Tesla CEO.

One person said: ‘This is giving cult vibes.’

Another user added: ‘Oh, so like Sister Wives? Lol.’

‘Billionaire’s shouldn’t even exist,’ said one person.

Someone else commented: ‘He creeps me out so much.’

Although it is unclear if all of the car pro’s exes are on board with the idea, Shivon Zilis, an executive at Elon’s brain tech start-up Neuralink, has reportedly already moved into one of the mansions on the Austin compound.

Elon and Shivon welcomed twins, Strider and Azure, two years ago, and a third child born earlier this year.

The richest man in the world often warns that depopulation is one of the ‘biggest threats’ to the world, and has built his $270 billion fortune largely on renewability.

This recently saw his rocket company SpaceX successfully catch its Starship rocket with giant mechanical arms, while his electric car company Tesla has grown to the world’s most valuable car company.

Elon has recently relocated to Pennsylvania in hopes of helping Donald Trump retake the White House, but sources told the Times that when he is in Texas he often lives in a mansion that is just a 10-minute walk from his planned family compound.

The $35 million Austin estate is said to resemble Tuscan villas and includes a main house as well as at least one six-bedroom mansion in the back.

His plan was reportedly to have all three of his children’s mothers move into the enclave along with his eleven children, however his tumultuous family life means some relatives may not want to join.
