An unassuming house listing with an unusual surprise inside has left people speechless.

The spacious six-bedroom property in the village of Thornage near Holt in Norfolk is currently on the market for £800,000.

The detached property boasts two spacious barns and accompanying paddock, while the stylish kitchen diner area has an Aga oven.

It is currently being marketed by Pointens Estate Agents, who describe it as a ‘substantial village house’ which is ‘quietly situated’ two miles from Holt, with a walled rear garden and adjoining rented meadow.

The listing has since attracted the attention of Reddit users under the thread r/SpottedonRightmove, with one person saying ‘you won’t believe what’s here’ and that the property wasn’t ‘at all’ what they expected.

Indeed, hidden between standard photographs of bedrooms and living spaces was an impressive 50-seat private movie theatre and performance venue, located in one of the barns.

The unique room featured a large screen and even a grand piano – which would make a fantastic cinema room for film lovers.

People said: ‘I could certainly live in a place like that, but the 49 seats seems a lot, must have a lot of friends’;

‘Well that’s awesome! Now I need that in my life!’;

‘Wow. I really hope someone who can use it all gets that place and really does use it all. If it could be used for the community, that would be great too’;

‘Oh wow. Totally not what I expected in a good way’;

‘That’s super cool. I really want to know who lives there! Must have some mad skillz’;

‘That’s impressive! I want it!’;

‘Well that really is a first. I think words have not only failed me, they have left the room and gone looking for the pub with all the other lost words……’;

‘Blimey. I didn’t expect that!’

The second detached building is currently used as further living accommodation with a recording studio.

The main house has a rustic feel and comprises of an entrance, spacious kitchen and diner, sitting room, bright garden room and cloakroom on the ground floor.

On the second floor, there are four bedrooms, a bathroom and two shower rooms.

According to the listing, the property benefits from oil fired heating and has recently had new wooden windows and doors installed throughout.

It also has plenty of off-street parking and an added storage unit in the walled rear garden.

The rural village of Thornage meanwhile is within easy reach of market town Holt, and five miles from the Norfolk coastline.

It comes after house hunters were left baffled after spotting a bizarre ‘man cave’ property featuring walls that are covered with beer cans from the floor to the ceiling.

The house, located on Tildsley Crescent in Runcorn, Cheshire, has hit the market for a guide price of £185,000.

The three-bedroom semi-detached property has been described as ‘in need of modernisation’ by letting agents Rightmove, who are selling the home.

Upon first glance, the exterior of the property makes it seem like the dwelling is an unassuming family home but once you step inside, it is clear the homeowner has gone for a rather unusual interior design.

Property hunters were shocked after seeing the state of one of the downstairs rooms – which has was left cluttered with rubbish.

One described the property as ‘over-priced’ for what it was, while another said it looked like it smelt.

Photos of the house showed how the building’s original wall is barely visible, as various beer cans – including of brands like Stella Artois and Fosters – were flattened and stuck to it.
