Police have launched a murder investigation after a young mother was found dead in a flat in Glasgow.
Brodie MacGregor, 23, was found inside a property on Elmvale Street, in the Springburn area, on Monday and pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers launched a murder inquiry following a post-mortem examination and have now arrested a 52-year-old man in connection with her death.
Police Scotland are supporting Ms MacGregor’s family as they continue to probe the circumstances surrounding her death.
The force has set up an online portal and is encouraging people to submit information that could aid in their ongoing investigation.

Detectives are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was in the area between 4.30am and 10.30am on Monday August 26 and saw anything suspicious.
Detective Chief Inspector Lynsey Watters said of the Major Investigation Team said: ‘Our thoughts remain with Brodie’s family and friends at this very difficult time.
‘We are providing them with support as our investigation continues to establish the full circumstances of what happened.
‘We would again urge anyone who may have any information to get in touch. Any information, no matter how small, could be vital in establishing what happened to Brodie.
‘A police presence remains in the Springburn area as our inquiries continue and I would encourage anyone with information or concerns to speak with these officers.’
