A woman has left onlookers speechless after ignoring her own proposal despite her boyfriend’s best efforts.

The awkward moment, which was recently shared to TikTok by DailyMail.com, showed Victoria Brock standing on a pontoon that extended out over a sprawling body of water.

Her excited partner could be seen getting down on one knee as she faced the other way before he extended his hand in an attempt to get her to turn around.

But the hopeful fiancé-to-be, along with the crowd of onlookers, was left stunned when Victoria showed little interest in the series of events.

Instead of turning to see her surprise proposal unfolding, she brushed away his hand in apparent annoyance and continued chatting to her female friend. 

Her boyfriend stayed knelt on the ground but looked around in seeming embarrassment at getting brushed off by his future wife – with onlookers also left stunned.

He reached out his hand once again which caused Victoria to snap her head round with a stern expression before she realized what was happening.

It is then that her boyfriend tentatively asked: ‘Victoria Faith Brock, will you marry me?’

But, despite the apparent happy ending, viewers were left mortified on the boyfriend’s behalf.

The video of the ‘worst proposal’ has exploded across social media with it raking in 2.2 million views and almost 85,000 after being posted by DailyMail.com.

Many users were shocked by the ’emotionless’ bride and rushed to the comments to share their own thoughts on the exchange.

‘This proposal could have been an email,’ a top comment read.

‘It was so unemotional,’ another said.

‘I woulda walked away,’ someone else shared.
