- Dashcam footage shows incident taking place on Queslett Road, Birmingham
- Incident took place just days after tragic traffic accident on Soho Road
This the terrifying moment a speeding car flies straight over the top of a roundabout and smashes into another driver, before apparently fleeing the scene.
Dashcam footage shows a speeding grey car careening into a roundabout by an Asda store on Queslett Road in Birmingham, West Midlands on Tuesday night.
The incident took place just two days after a tragic traffic accident on Soho Road in Birmingham that left one man dead and two in hospital.
Viewers can see the grey vehicle drive into the middle of the roundabout and catch its bumper on the kerb, causing the car to launch high into the air, before it crashes back down to earth on the other side.
Upon landing, the car smashes down and into the side of another motorist, wiping them out and sending their vehicle into a spin.
Not stopping however, the offending car manages to find the junction on the other side of the roundabout and slides off down the road.
Wobbling from side to side and badly damaged with barely any traction, the grey car eventually comes to a skidding stop a little way down the road.

The driver of the dashcam car can be seen slowly coming to stop at their entrance to the roundabout at the start of the video.
As he prepares to join, the grey car flies in from the right of the screen via another exit.
Following the shocking incident, both the motorist in the car that recorded the incident and a smaller red car that was on the roundabout inch forward to offer assistance to those involved in the crash.
The motorist recording the incident reaches the wiped-out car and comes to a stop before the sound of a seatbelt being undone can be heard as they prepare to get out and help the unlucky driver.
The footage was shared to social media on Tuesday with the caption: ‘Asda Queslett.’
The clip has since received dozens of likes and comments from social media users left stunned at the motorist’s actions so soon after the fatal crash on Soho Road.
One user said: ‘When they tell you go straight over the roundabout.
Another added: ‘There ain’t no way (sic), 24 hours later’, while a third commented: ‘What’s going on in the city?’.

On Sunday, a married father was killed in the crash on Soho Road when an Audi ploughed into at least six other cars at high speed, whilst two others were hospitalised.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving in relation to the incident.
Andy Street, Mayor of the West Midlands, described it as ‘another needless death in Birmingham’.
He went on to say: ‘Road safety is a priority across the whole West Midlands and this incident is a reminder that we need all partners – including Birmingham City Council – to play their full part.
‘Now is the time to double down on our road safety responsibilities, not step away.’
West Midlands Police says they are aware of the footage and have asked anyone in the area that saw what happened to contact them via 101 or Live Chat quoting log number 4799 of 20 Feb.
A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Road safety is a priority for us and partners including Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), local authorities and the region’s Police and Crime Commissioner.
‘We joined forces under the Operation Triton banner last year to pledge action to reduce the number of people killed and seriously injured on our roads and this work continues.
‘We are actively patrolling key areas to enforce speed limits and protect our communities from the dangers of excessive speed and other road harm issues. However, the police cannot be everywhere.
‘We urge motorists to prioritise road safety as their actions can make a significant difference in preventing accidents and protecting lives.
‘We also appreciate the support and cooperation of our communities in reporting any instances of dangerous driving.’
