This is the terrifying moment two ‘XL Bully’ dogs launch a crazed attack on a rail platform by an oncoming train after a woman allegedly lost control of the beasts.

Footage taken at Stratford station shows a woman standing over a dog with white and light-brown fur. She appears to fit a harness onto the big dog, while she looks down the platform to a second dog, who has white fur with large brown patches.

The second dog, which is on a lead, can be seen jumping up at a man and aggressively snapping at him. 

The suspected XL Bully attacks the man, who according to bystanders came to help the woman struggling to control her dogs. 

The woman repeatedly shouts: ‘Give me the dog,’ while the pet relentlessly attacks the man who tries to escape its bite.

The terrifying video then shows the dog biting the man’s arms several times as feathers from his down jacket floated across the platform like snow.

The woman tries to hold back her other dog who also charges towards the man, who repeatedly screams for help. 

The man attempts to get away from the aggressive dogs, he falls over – mere inches from the edge of the platform – while a train is approaching the station.  

The dog, who has since escaped his collar and lead, immediately jumps on top of him, as the helpless man tries to fight him off. 

When the owner finally gets a hold of the second dog, the terrified man runs away just before the train stops at the platform.

The footage was shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, last night and many users were appalled the woman had taken both dogs out when she ‘can’t control them’.

One person wrote: ‘This is why XL bully’s are getting banned cause people can’t control their dogs.’

Another added: ‘She can’t control the dogs, yet brings on in public transport where kids could have got injured. These are the types of people the rules need to be centred on.’  

The Met Police has been contacted for comment.
