  • The red Ferrari LaFerrari hybrid is retailed at £3.3 million
  • Despite being built in 1869 the six bed home is worth less than the vehicle
  • The property also includes a wine room, a Wild Swimming Pool and cinema

House sellers are often advised to make their house smell of baked bread or coffee in a bid to entice prospective buyers.

But one vendor went further when they drove a £3m Ferrari into their living room for the estate agent’s pictures – and incredibly it’s worth MORE than the bricks and mortar.

Potential buyers were left aghast at photos which show the pricey supercar parked up inside the £2.5m home.

And the vehicle – which appears to be a Ferrari LaFerrari hybrid – is probably worth more than the house.

Online car sales site AutoTrader has three on sale, all priced at £3.3m.

Built in 1869, the home is a Grade II listed pile in Luton, Beds, which has been ‘refurbished by our clients to an exacting standard whilst retaining beautiful original features’, according to the estate agent’s spiel.

A description on Rightmove from agents Whittaker & Co added: ‘Built in 1869 this is a stunning Grade II-listed home, refurbished by our clients to an exacting standard whilst retaining beautiful original features.

‘The house is set on a plot of circa 1.3 acres to include a coach house – ideal for multi generational living or guest/staff accommodation, for example, a wild swimming pool and specialist garaging for ten cars.

‘Additional features such as a wine room and home cinema.’

The property is also chain free.

But most who saw it on RightMove were amazed by the incredibly expensive wheels in what appears to be a living area.

It looks like the car may be charging, but thanks to fully openable windows, it can be driven inside.

Close by is a glass-topped coffee table, sofa with fluffy cushions and a grey rug.

The vehicle seems to be a 2013 LaFerrari hybrid – which retailed at more than £1m and completely sold out when it hit the market.

One viewer said: ‘Why would you put your car in the living room when trying to sell your house?’

‘It’s Luton. Clearly it’d get nicked if it was left outside,’ one replied.

Another said: ‘Car’s probably worth close, if not the same as, the house lol.’

One shot back: ‘Comfortably more these days. Around £3.3 m for a La Ferrari.’

And another said: ‘I hope I can afford a £3m Ferrari when my midlife crisis comes.’

One said: ‘I’d suggest if they had a £3m car in a £2m house, they’ve also got another house, or two.’

But others were blown away.

One swooned: ‘The car looks amazing.’

Another said: ‘They obviously didn’t have anywhere else to plug it in.’
