It’s undeniably been a whirlwind year for Britain’s biggest family – and The Radfords have documented it all on their new reality series.

22 Kids and Counting – which follows the Morecambe-based family’s day-to-day lives – will begin airing again at 8pm this evening on Channel 5.

Earlier this week, mother-of-22 Sue shared a teaser trailer with the family’s 530,000 Instagram followers, which showed their dream of owning a £850k countryside home come crashing down.

The short clip opens with Sue gushing over the ‘stunning’ property and telling husband Noel that she could ‘really see [them] living [there]’.

The reality show will document how the couple’s hopes were dashed when the chain they were involved in collapsed – resulting in the sale eventually falling through.

In the episode, Sue revealed to her daughter she was ‘absolutely gutted’ but Chloe reassured her mother and reminded her of all that they already have.

Sue said: ‘We are just really gutted we are not going to get that country life. It has been quite difficult. Absolutely gutted. You know when you had your heart set on something, all these plans, hopes and dreams and then it’s just shattered.

‘It’s a bit like waking up on Christmas morning and finding out all your Christmas presents have gone.’

Noel and Sue have lived in a Victorian house in Morecambe, Lancashire for 11 years.

While some of their children are grown up and have moved out, it’s believe around a dozen of their brood live at the property with them currently.

Ahead of the first episode airing tonight, Noel posted a photo on his personal Instagram account of a vintage bottle of wine from 1970.

He captioned the post: ‘Finally getting round to drinking this that [my daughter Sophie] got me for my 50th three years ago.’

A similar bottle of rare Barbaresco wine – which is produced by Franco Fiorina – is currently selling for £239 online.

What’s more, the series may also cover Sue’s falling out with daughter Millie, who accused her of ‘making money’ off her grandchildren in April 2023.

Millie, 23, is the seventh child of Noel and Sue and has three children – Ophelia, Chester and Elodie – of her own.

In a surprise Instagram story that was hastily deleted, Millie came out against her mother Sue, accusing her of making money off her grandchildren.

She was reacting to a YouTube vlog that Sue advertised on social media, where the mother-of-22 surprised her daughter Sophie’s children, Daisy, ten, Ayprill, eight, and Leo, seven, with a trip to Disneyworld.

‘Cute? But you’ve made money from all your grandchildren but choose your favourites,’ Millie said on her Instagram story over a screenshot of the video where Sue surprised her sister’s children.

‘Said my piece,’ she added.

It appeared Millie was displeased with the fact her children were left out of the trip in spite of the fact they had appeared in 22 Kids and Counting.

‘I recall my kids being in the whole 22 Kids and Counting – not a single sight viewing of the rest in there,’ she said, adding ‘barely one [episode].’

However, the 22-year-old deleted her Instagram story shortly after sharing it.

During their ‘feud’, Millie shared a touching video of her baby’s heartbeat with her 119,000 Instagram followers.

But her mother Sue seemingly did not attend the appointment with her, instead she travelled to see her mother with her other daughters.

She had gone with her to doctors appointments during her previous pregnancies.  However, the pair are believed to have patched things up in time for Elodie’s arrival as Sue acted as Millie’s birthing partner, as she had for her two older children.

Commenting on Millie’s Instagram post announcing Elodie’s arrival, Sue wrote: ‘Aww Millie she’s just so beautiful. I’m so proud of you, you did amazing bringing her into the world. Thank you so much for asking me to be with you. Love you’.
