Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco have celebrated their twins’ 10th birthday by sharing previously unseen family photos.
Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella were born two minutes apart at Princess Grace Hospital Monaco, which is named after their late grandmother, on 10 December 2014.
Although the children, who are the first set of twins in Monaco’s royal household, occasionally appear with their parents for public occasions, they are growing up largely outside of the spotlight.
To mark their birthday today, the Royal Family’s official Instagram account shared 12 new images of Jacques and Gabriella with their 99,400 followers.
The majority of the images were taken by Eric Mathon – the royals’ official photographer who took their Christmas card image too.
The first undated image shows Princess Gabriella in a gymnastics uniform and matching bow while wearing a medal around her neck and holding a pair of binoculars.
As she beams for the camera, Gabriella’s brother, who is dressed in a white polo and jeans, puts an arm around his sibling as they stand inside a gymnasium’s private seating area.
The photo montage also includes a candid image of the twins laughing in a garden while dressed formally for an unspecified occasion.

Princess Gabriella – who wore an ivory dress and matching coat – is pictured leaning on her brother, who is wearing a navy suit and trying to control his giggles.
Another image from the same occasion shows the twins making a love heart with their hands as they pose in front of a water fountain.

While Jacques wore a tie-dye denim jacket and beige chinos, his sister opted for bleached-wash dungarees, a blue cord jacket and pink sunglasses.
During this trip, the children were pictured posing for a photo on the tractor and also admiring some ducks.
The montage also includes a never-before-seen portrait of the children waving the flag of Monaco inside the Palace on Monaco’s National Day last month.
While Jacques was dressed in full regalia, Gabriella wore a baby blue coat dress and matching bow headband.
The montage ends with two headshots of the twins: one of Princess Gabriella wearing a purple lace dress and the other of Jacques donning a pair of sunglasses at the Grand Prix this spring.

When Gabriella and Jacques were born, the royal family of Monaco welcomed its first set of twins into the world with 42 cannon shots. There were 21 for each baby – Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques.
Though Princess Gabriella was born two minutes before her brother Jacques, it is he who will lead the royal household as the future Prince of Monaco.
Born to Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene on December 10, 2014, they were delivered by caesarean section at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco.
Their father had chosen not to learn the gender of the babies before they were born, saying: ‘It is one of the beautiful surprises that life offers us.’
But Prince Albert made it clear that if a boy and girl were born, the boy would become the royal heir, in line with the male priority of Monaco’s succession law.

Less than a week after the twins were born, Charlene gave her first post-birth interview.
Speaking to French magazine Paris Match, she said that spending time with the twins was ‘magical’.
‘What I can tell you is that they are both very active and very expressive,’ she continued. ‘They are beautiful, adorable, I’m crazy in love with them.’
She also told of the moment the children arrived and admitted she was nervous for their health, as they arrived two weeks early. ‘At first, I was happy to hear their first cries,’ she said. ‘I was obviously a bit overwhelmed with emotion.
‘Every second with them is magical. I look forward to spending more time in their presence.’
