King Charles and Queen Camilla have delighted royals fans after they attended a star-studded Buckingham Palace garden party wearing matching pink garments.
The glitzy event saw the likes of Maya Jama, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Tess Daley, Vernon Kay and Dame Arlene Phillips arrive on the lawns of the royal residence in London yesterday in their finest attire.
The late spring event saw 4,000 guests from the worlds of art, heritage, film, broadcasting and fashion congregate together to enjoy tea and cake on the grounds of the Palace.
Opting for striking patterned dresses, sharp suits, elaborate fascinators and Ascot-worthy hats, the garden party guests certainly delivered on the regal dress code.
But it was Charles and Camilla’s matching pink outfits that had people raving on social media, with royal watchers praising the ‘lovely and sweet couple’.

‘I absolutely LOVE that the King and Queen are wearing matching pink!!! Love it!!!’ wrote one royal fan on Instagram on a post shared by The Royal Family’s official Instagram account.
While another commented with approval: ‘Love the King and Queen are matching colour. What a lovely and sweet couple.’
And a third wrote: ‘I love that they are both wearing pink. It’s a great colour for both of them but I especially like King Charles pink vest.’
King Charles looked dapper in a three-piece suit, which included a grey blazer and matching trousers with a pink silk waistcoat, finished with a graphic-print tie and matching handkerchief.
Queen Camilla, who was often spotted by her husband’s side as they soaked up the May sun, wore a pale pink coat dress in the same pastel shade as Charles.
The comments came after the official Royal Family Instagram account shared some pictures from the garden party yesterday.
The post was captioned: ‘This afternoon The King and Queen hosted a special Garden Party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Creative Industries.
‘The event, hosted in collaboration with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, saw 4,000 guests from the worlds of art, heritage, film, broadcasting and fashion enjoy tea and cake on the palace lawn.’

The King has well and truly thrown himself back into his work, with the Buckingham Palace garden party his fifth engagement in 48 hours.
During a literary event today in East Sussex, Queen Camilla joked with guests that the King is getting better,’ before joking: ‘Well, he would be if he behaved himself.’
The Queen has previously voiced her concerns that her husband is working so hard despite undergoing cancer treatment, but also accepts his diligent approach to his work.
Charles was given permission by doctors to begin undergoing public engagements again in late April, and has resumed his duties with much enthusiasm.
The Buckingham Palace garden party on May 15 was to celebrate the Creative Industries, hosted in collaboration with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.

Yesterday’s event was the first time that the Royal Family have organised a garden party with a government department.
Palace invitations are usually sent via a network of lord-lieutenants, royal charities and the Lord Chamberlain’s Office to ensure an even spread of civic worthies, public servants and community leaders across the UK.
The next Buckingham Palace garden party, which will be a chance for the royals to meet worthy members of the public, will take place on May 21.
