Donald Trump hosted a Great Gatsby-themed party at the Mar-a-Lago on Friday, filled with glamorous women in roaring twenties outfits and even a burlesque dancer.
The lavish Halloween bash at his Palm Beach residence was officially named ‘A little party never killed nobody’, in reference to the Fergie song that made up part of the soundtrack of the 2013 cinematic adaptation of F Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel.
In one image from the party, a burlesque showgirl posed in an enormous Martini glass, while footage showed dancers in flapper costumes entertaining guests with cabaret routines.
Gigantic gold and silver balloons decorated an outdoor pool while the exclusive line-up of attendees drank champagne and dined as 1920s music played.
It has not been confirmed how much guests paid for entry, but tickets for previous parties at the Mar-a-Lago have been $1,000 each.
Trump sat at a table with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, his wife Jeanette, as well as Judge Jeanine Pirro, and his son-in-law Michael Boulos, who is married to Tiffany Trump.
Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka, and her husband Jared Kushner were also in attendance.
A video from the evening showed the U.S. president whispering to Rubio about wanting to spend more time with the First Lady, lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail.

Candid Melania Trump moment at Halloween festivities leaves fans in awe

‘No small talk,’ Trump said. ‘One night, I don’t want to be disturbed and want to spend some time with Melania before I leave.’
Guests shared photos of their 1920s-inspired outfits on social media, including Pirro, who wore a glittering green dress and other flapper garb.
Rubio’s wife shared pictures of her silky white gown and long pearl necklace in a post caption: ‘Great time last night at Mar-A-Lago.’
One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and Australia’s richest person Gina Rinehart were also reportedly seen at the party.
Since 1985, Trump has owned the Mar-a-Lago after purchasing the property from the Post Foundation for $10 million.
He renovated the rooms to resemble European palaces fit with sparkling chandeliers and expensive gold leaf features.
In 1995, he turned it into a members-only private club with more guest rooms, a spa, a new beach club, a 20,000-square-foot ballroom and tennis and croquet courts.
When he became president, the membership fee doubled to $200,000.
Most of the members, including real estate developers, energy executives and Wall Street bankers, predate Trump’s rise to the White House.
New memberships are reportedly limited to only a few dozen per year.

The president had a jam-packed week traveling across Asia, then stopping at the White House on Thursday to hand out candy to children with his wife before heading to his Florida residence.
Both Trump and the First Lady went viral for their interactions with children at the trick-or-treating event.
Trump recreated his iconic 2019 candy bar moment by placing a piece of chocolate on a child who was dressed as DJ Marshmello.
Eagle-eyed fans noted that Trump played the same trick during his first term six years ago when he placed a piece of candy on top of a child dressed as a Minion from the hit movie, Despicable Me.
On Halloween, the president also revealed he had renovated the bathroom in the White House Lincoln Bedroom – which has views of his controversial demolition of the East Wing.
Trump posted before-and-after photos of the refurbished bathroom, which is attached to one of the most famous rooms in the White House.

BREAKING NEWS Trump unveils renovated Lincoln Bathroom at the White House – with views of his East Wing demolition

He wrote on Truth Social: ‘It was renovated in the 1940s in an art deco green tile style, which was totally inappropriate for the Lincoln Era.
‘I did it in black and white polished Statuary marble. This was very appropriate for the time of Abraham Lincoln and, in fact, could be the marble that was originally there!’
The bathroom is connected to the Lincoln Bedroom, which is part of a guest suite on the White House’s second floor. It was used as the former president’s office and Cabinet Room and became the Lincoln Bedroom during Harry Truman’s renovations.
One of the photos showed a view out of the window where construction workers could be seen working on the demolition of the East Wing to make way for the president’s new privately funded $300 million ballroom.
Donald Trump posted photos from inside the new Lincoln Bathroom, which adjoins the famous bedroom at the White House
It comes after the White House said tours will resume on December 2, following their suspension for months due to the construction of the ballroom.
The East Wing was once part of the tour, but has been demolished as part of the project.
