Wherever you look, adverts exist in all forms, tempting us to part with our hard-earned cash. 

And whilst many tend to be informative, some can seem bizarre, comical, or downright absurd.

US-based blog Sad and Useless has compiled images that show the most ridiculous advert and billboard fails from around the world.

Louisiana-based radio station 102.5 WFMF radio wants listeners to know they offer today ‘s**t music’ – which might have been intended to read ‘today’s hit music’. 

Meanwhile in Europe, a Scandinavian advert on the side of a lorry shows off an attractive blonde woman’s million dollar smile – but the placement of a black handle on her top lip gives the illusion she has some striking facial hair with a very unfortunate ring to it.
