Zayn Malik, Emma Thompson, Penelope Cruz and Stevie Wonder were named as part of a group of ‘Anti-Israel celebrities’ in an email sent to Jeffrey Epstein.
The list of celebs was sent to the late paedophile financier in July 2014 by JNS News, who later published an article on the topic.
In the peak of One Direction fame, Zayn, originally from Bradford, was included over his support for Palestine.
The excerpt reads: ‘Singer Zayn Malik of the British band One Direction posted the hashtag #FreePalestine on his Twitter amid the current conflict between Israel and Hamas.
‘Unlike singer Rihanna, who also posted the hashtag and then deleted it, Malik kept his post online, garnering nearly 200,000 retweets.
‘One Direction recently appeared in a Super Bowl advertisement for Macy’s and released its own campaign for the Our Moment fragrance.’
The article accused some celebrities of making ‘false accusations’ about Israel and of ‘justifying the actions of the terrorist group Hamas’.
British actress Emma Thompson was included in the list, on the grounds that she called for a boycott of Israeli Habima Theatre’s performance at the Globe Theatre in London.

Thompson co-signed a letter published in The Guardian newspaper which berated Habima for its ‘shameful record of involvement with illegal Israeli settlements in Occupied Palestinian Territory’.
Meanwhile Penelope Cruz, alongside her husband Javier Bardem, were called out for signing an open letter denouncing ‘Israel’s Operation Protective Edge in Gaza as “genocide”‘.
And Stevie Wonder was shamed for pulling out of a performance at a Friends of the Israel Defense Forces gala in Los Angeles in 2012.
Pink Floyd star Roger Waters was also named for his support of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.
The article reads: ‘Waters featured a giant pigshaped balloon emblazoned with a Star of David in a 2013 concert, prompting accusations of anti-Semitism.
‘He has also compared Israelis to Nazis.’
It also drew Epstein’s attention to other high-profile people including Russell Brand, Danny Glover and Dustin Hoffman.
The article was written by JNS News nine years prior to the Hamas-led attack on Israel which claimed the lives of more than 1200 Israelis and foreign nationals.

When Malik posted the hashtag referenced in the email, he was bombarded with death threats.
Despite this, he has continuously shared his support for Palestine on social media.
The former One Direction star moved to the US in 2015 and fathered a child with supermodel Gigi Hadid.
Malik, who has achieved some success since he left One Direction, is currently performing in Las Vegas as part of a residency.
