Prince William’s cousin Phoebe Knatchbull has tied the knot in a stylish ceremony in London.
The 29-year-old Mountbatten heiress, who is the great-granddaughter of the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, looked the epitome of bridal perfection as she was pictured sharing a kiss with her investment banker husband Leopold Glover on Saturday.
The newlyweds oozed glamour as they stood amid a shower of confetti on steps outside the a registry office in Chelsea and Kensington – where the likes of Crown Princess Marie Chantal of Greece, Judy Garland, and Wallis Simpson once celebrated their own nuptials.
Despite her royal connections, Phoebe is known for largely shying away from the spotlight – a sentiment that was reflected in the lowkey registry nuptial on Saturday as the couple appeared to be in the company of just close friends and family.
The Prince of Wales – who is Phoebe’s third cousin – was not in attendance, as he and Kate are visiting the Caribbean paradise of Mustique – a trip that also saw him miss Sunday’s BAFTAs.
The newlyweds were pictured in a slew of snaps posted to Instagram by Phoebe’s sister, Daisy, on Saturday. The bride herself currently has her Instagram account set to private.
Phoebe, who works as the global account development director at Freuds+ in New York, looked radiant in a casual but stylish ensemble featuring a cream tuxedo-style mini dress from Daisy’s brand, Knatchbull, formerly known as The Deck.

Phoebe and her new husband got engaged in January in New York earlier this year, where they have reportedly been living for just over a year.
She told The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden that the pair had known each other since they were at £28,000-per-year Garden House preparatory school together in Chelsea.
The nuptials offered the chance for the distantly related royal to enjoy time among close friends and family members, many of whom have royal connections.
During her childhood, Patricia, and her younger sister, Lady Pamela Hicks, enjoyed playing alongside the future Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret.
Then, as she reached adulthood, Patricia married Lord Brabourne in 1947, where Princess Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, Lady Pamela, and Princess Alexandra of Kent all served as her bridesmaids.
The couple spent a long and happy marriage together, raising eight children in total.
