Uber Eats are set to launch a new menu with three-Michelin starred chef Simon Rogan.
The latest offer from the food delivery service is a far cry from a late night pizza or greasy kebab – and instead offers the likes of Bay Shrimp custard, Chicken Offal donut and pickled tapioca.
Said to be the most sustainable meal Uber has ever launched, the menu has been developed solely using ingredients grown on Rogan’s farm, in the Cartmel Valley in the Lake District and the surrounding area, alongside meat, fish and dairy sourced from local suppliers.
The same farm supplies Rogan’s three Michelin starred L’Enclume which also holds a coveted Michelin Green star, awarded to restaurants at the forefront of the industry in terms of their sustainable practices.
Simon and his team will be cooking the menu for Uber Eats customers located in London on the 18th and 19th of September between 5-10pm, priced at £80, with Pairing wines available for £30.

The exclusive Uber Eats menu consists of five courses, with snacks consisting of a Park House Pudding glazed in birch sap, a Chicken Offal Doughnut, and Diana Radishes with Lovage Emulsion.
This will be followed by a salad containing 51 ingredients from Simon’s Cartmel Valley farm ‘Our Farm’ including a Bay Shrimp custard with shrimp from nearby Morecambe Bay. The number 51 is particularly significant, as it refers to 51 years since organic certification was introduced in the UK.

Heritage Breed Beef short rib from Lake District Farmers is the centrepiece of the meal. This is served with fermented cabbage, chanterelles and an indulgent beef sauce featuring ramson stems, pickled tapioca and ramson oil. The menu will conclude with petit fours.
The menu is set to be Uber Eats’ most sustainable takeaway menu yet in the UK, with fully biodegradable packaging created from seaweed and manufactured by an Earthshot Prize winning company.
The food itself will be transported via electric van from Cartmel to London in recyclable packaging and the majority of the deliveries to customers will be fulfilled by either bicycles or e-bikes.
This partnership with Simon Rogan comes ahead of Uber’s second-annual climate event in London, GO-GET Zero, taking place on 8th October, to introduce new features that will make sustainability the better choice and build momentum in our drive towards zero-emissions.

Simon, whose restaurants hold eight Michelin stars worldwide and two Michelin Green Stars, is the latest chef to bring a unique menu to Uber Eats following previous iterations by Gareth Ward of Ynyshir and Jeremy Chan of Ikoyi.
Simon has been credited with transforming the UK food scene with his farm to fork approach to cooking, reflected in the Michelin Green star he has achieved for his three Michelin star restaurant L’Enclume, the Lake District.
Foodies travel from around the globe to try his food, whether that be at L’Enclume in the Lake District, the first of Simon’s restaurants which opened 22 years ago, or chef’s table Aulis London, his more recent reopening in Soho which was recently awarded its first Michelin star earlier this year.
Simon Rogan, said: ‘I’m delighted to be partnering with Uber Eats to shine a light on some of the very best produce we’re able to grow and source in this country, most of which I’m proud my team and I have produced on our very own Lake District farm.
‘My cooking philosophy has always been influenced by the natural environment, while sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do. Uber Eats have truly gone above and beyond to match this ethos with this project.’
