- READ MORE: Puppies abandoned before they were born hunt for a home
A week ago, their future looked uncertain. But now little Belle and Arlo have found new homes – just in time for Christmas.
The adorable Cavachon puppies were born in an animal shelter around eight weeks ago after their mother was abandoned while she was pregnant.
After their plight was featured in the Daily Mail, two families came to their rescue.
Yesterday Belle spent her first Christmas Day cuddling up with ten-year-old Noah Bennett and his grandmother, Caroline, 64, at their home in Bristol.
Meanwhile, Arlo enjoyed the festivities with Sarah Lambourne and her twin daughters, 11-year-olds Izzy and Sophie, in Bideford, Devon.

Noah told the Mail: ‘Belle is great. She’s got lots of energy and she’s a bit naughty.’
Caroline added: ‘We’ve lost some much-loved family pets in recent years. So when we saw Belle’s story in the Daily Mail, we jumped at the chance to give her a home’.
Belle and Arlo were among 12 puppies from two litters of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise-crosses born at Many Tears Animal Rescue, near Llanelli, in South Wales, which has seen twice as many dogs abandoned this year.
Ms Lambourne took Arlo home as a gift for the twins after seeing his picture online. She said: ‘They love him, he’s their perfect Christmas present.’
The rescue centre is looking after 400 animals and appealed for anyone looking for a puppy to consider getting in contact.
